Canada is really beautiful, the drive is breathtaking taking.
We lived on the Canadian border for over 30 years. It was often a pain to cross the border.

We went to Canada via the Rainbow Bridge. Border Patrol had no sense of humor. Fortunately, we had no issues. We were not in an RV.

Yikes. Yet another reason we'll just stay inside the US.
Thank you for watching, we don’t want to sway people away from going through Canada, lesson was do lots of research before hand. We had a lot going on, selling our house in California to move back to Alaska, being caretakers for my mom, plus our daughter just turned 11 & we had two large dogs with us. Not an excuse, but in 2012 we weren’t online as much as we are on it today. Lots more online resources.
Each time going through Canada has been a great experience since that first one. We’ll share how to make sure you have a great experience going to Canada in the Alaska series. ☺️
