Fishing report March 20, 2019. Spring is here on the Middle Provo River in Utah; that's not to say that winter can't reappear unexpectedly. The rainbow trout are running up from Deer Creek reservoir, which is still mostly frozen. Trout have a very keen sense of smell and the scent of earth worms and fish eggs in the river flowing in must be irresistible. There are a few spawning rainbows but almost all of them are about 10 or 12 inches long, not big but plentiful and looking for something to eat. There are, as always here, wild brown trout of various sizes. More videos are on the way. Subscribe and get them when they come up.
