While my kids didn't take to fishing as much as dear old dad would have liked, the times we did go and all the extra rigging, detangling, teaching, etc. were always worth the effort. We have great memories of catching fish and experiencing the wonderful outdoors. My kids still recall the day a bald eagle swooped down and stole a kayaker's stringer of fish while the kayaker swamped his kayak trying to save his stringer! LOL. Thanks for this video.

Great video, I pray everything works out for your little ones. There are definitely a lot of fishing opportunities around here, even the small community ponds can be a great time for the family. I’m retired military and have had the privilege of fishing around the world, even caught a catfish in the middle of Baghdad, Iraq. But, Utah trout fishing has and will always be my favorite. My goal next summer is getting in my kayak and hitting all the Kokanee lakes here in Utah, catching at least one from every lake 🤞.
