Why the hell would you cut out a feature like creating a story? They've basically done extra work on the game in order to deliberately make it worse. How stupid.
It's a whole different game on PS4! The hype was on PS4 and Xbox One and not last gen consoles. They even didn't show a single footage of last gen consoles until the game got released.

Whatever ideas they had for Here Comes the Pain. They need to do for the WWE game. Seriously. Smackdown Here Comes the Pain , SVR 2006, and Smackdown Shut Your Mouth were the top 3 WWE games IMO. If I had to pick a top 5, I would add WWF Smackdown and WWF Smackdown 2 to my list. These 5 games were legendary.
SVR 2008 was good too. The career mode thingy sucks. But playing locally with friends was great. It was the last SVR game that allowed divas to participate in a 6-man battle royal match with superstars.
I currently have an Xbox 360. Should I get this, 2k14 or 13? I Am a fan of cm punk that's why I am leaning towards this game but from the reviews so far, I guess I should get one of the other 2. Which one should I get?

I like creating divas and giving them custom entrance but when i seen that there were only three slides of entrances and not alot of songs i was so disappointed. I had to take the game back to the store, i never did that with a wrestling game but hopefully WWE 2K16 is better and give us more custom entrances and songs.
This game is simply AWFUL. They cut many things and downgrade many others. No entrance updated, no music updated, a little AI improve and that's it. Wrost WWE Game ever made. I blame 2k. I'll not buy this for the first time since SmackDown! 2.

I found the PS2 versions of previous games the same as the PS3/360 versions only that the creation is a bit limited for understandable reasons. 2K15 looks like crap on old gen though. Though I guess we can all admit, the Wii WWE games are the worst.

If next gen doesn't have story creation or allow you to have your own custom music then I am legit not even going to get this game. I was going to make a story in WWE2K14 where I re-created the pay per view matches from Extreme rules 2013 all the way up to Wrestlemania 30 but I thought I'll just wait for 2K15 and do it with Extreme rules 2014-WM31. If I can't do this,im going to be very disappointed. I also have no intention using any of the bullshit rap music for my custom entrances or fancy listening to it in the menus. Career mode does not make up for this shit. If story creation and custom music is not included, im not buying the game. Believe that!

Not that it's bad, but it just doesn't seem to really offer anything new and just a downgrade from previous ones. I don't currently own a gaming system. Work 2 jobs and going to college so no time. If I feel the itch to do some gaming and crave a "current" wrestling game, I agree with the reviewer, and I would go with 2K14. Great roster. The thing that got me pumped for this game was Sting but he just looks "off" to me and frankly, I've seen CAWS of him that look a ton better.

So it is true. I looked up on Metacritic and most of the critic reviews so far say the same thing about the PS3/360 version(s). No create-a-finisher, no story creator, and the roster is smaller (even though I knew from the start that the roster was a disappointment). I like being able to create my finishers for my created wrestlers. I used that option alot in 2K14. And now I can't have that ability in 2K15? Bad move, developers.
Don't get this game. Period. If you want a wrestling game 2K14 is your best bet, you can get any character you want and have the options that were cut.
WWF Smackdown 2 (fast and fun gameplay), Smackdown Here Comes The Pain (fast, fun, and better graphic gameplay), and WWE Smackdown vs RAW 2006 (General Manager Mode) are the best ones.
