Can we give some respect to Francisco he is so underrated, my boy a beast! Shows up on time, works when he’s sick and SUPER FUNNY😂HE DONT GET ENOUGH AIRTIME!!!! Love you guys
Totally agree !!!! 👍👍👍
was amazing to see him last year join the crew haha
I remember him not coming in because of sickness lol 👀
Francisco is my favorite tooo !!!!
@@armando9464 we should become best friends
Francisco is a good dude. works hard and shows up on time. way to go Franny, Keep it up!
Francisco is the man
He’s working for those 26 in rims
and his truck looks dope now :)
Francisco is my dogg
he's becoming one of my favorites 👍
I love how Eric always takes care of Mom and you see his respect and sincerity, genuinely altruistic appreciation. Fransisco is a rock, always dependable just like Bugs. Tino too, always there. Poor Darryl, always digging himself a hole over and over again, I just pray he rises up, honors and takes better care of himself. When he does that, whatever burdens are plaguing him will be resolved, our Father and his son always show us the path.
Also, Ryan, I pray concrete will continuously flow abundantly for you all through the fall and into the next season. Whenever I was faced with uncertainty, I was always buoyed by my Mother’s constant entrenchment in the realm of positive thought, word and deed as she would remind me, Happy days ahead.
I am not a religious man but that was enlightening, nice comment!

Wise words you were raised by a fine woman.

I normally would not watch too many videos like these, and I am probably 30 percent through your library already. You guys have such great attitudes and a great sense of humor. Subbed yesterday, looking forward to future videos.
Daryl is doing exactly what he did last year towards the end of the season. He’s done working for the year.
Right when he seemed to be cleaning up his act
Daryl is going to read this an say "C'MAAHN!?!?"
Then laugh on his way to pick up his check...
Daryl is going into hibernation mode 😅
Who cares. He needs workers. How much can he get paid? 20 an hour? 25? For that price you get inconsistencies. The man is like 60 years old, not everyone has the genetics of bugs.
I can assume we can all agree now that Daryl needs to go but let's be honest Ryan allows that type of behavior and even tho he says he is tired of it all Ryan will do is punish Daryl by not giving him work for a job or two till he needs a driver again. Just look at Eric who is doing the same thing again showing up late, Ryan has told him so many times almost every week on a video Ryan tells Eric about showing up late yet nothing is done about it. If I was the boss I'd tell Daryl ok just don't bother coming in anymore till I really need and Eric since you like showing up late too stay home for the next couple weeks.
I work the night shift I always love to end my day in a victory style with your videos thanks Ryan for another awesome video!
Ryan, your work ethic is something to be greatly admired. You don't succeed in business by arriving late or not staying one step ahead of the game - you are good at both. This video showed all the extra work you had to personally perform just because one person did not arrive. All the power to you ! 👍👍👍
My own opinion about people being late is primarily the reason why I refuse to do anyone else's work until they arrive. I am a person that is usually never late for anything. So when I have to pick up someone else's slack it makes things more difficult for me until they finally get to work.
You’re being paid to work regardless of if they’re there or not so why does it matter if someone’s late
I am always at least 20 minutes early to work everyday. My foreman will always call me to say he is late and tells me what to get started on (as if I don’t already know). After it was happening for months on end I just started slacking off til he arrived because I seen his time sheets and he always put down for being on time even though it would be close to an hour late, daily. What my incentive to show up and work hard everyday when even the boss doesn’t?
And from my experience people are late cause they are not held accountable the first time. Your a good guy. People are taking advantage. Partying too much,
I don't think your right. if you watch the videos, Eric works a side business hes tired from working its a tuff job no matter how many times they say easy money is physically demanding, and Darryl is just lazy and sips the juice.
@@infidel3162 I'm not talking about Eric. He's really reliable
Yeah I’ve worked with a lot of guys like Darryl, it’s clear he’s on drugs especially when he was nodding out in the truck a lot, they get lots of chances though and I’m sure Ryan is well aware and probably keeps him on because he feels bad
@@infidel3162 ig if he paid him more he wouldn’t need to be doing side jobs lol
@@michaelr1763 I am sure Ryan pays him what he should. Professions have average pay depending on experience and skill. So You cant just expect more and more money. Eric has a side business,. he is trying to eventually do his own thing and not work for someone else. He wants to be more successful doing what he likes, without having to work for someone else.
Hey great vids, always a good laugh here, and great bunch of guys, I've watched almost every episode, I know how to do just about everything plumbing, electrical, paint everything but never done cement, and I've learned allot here. Thanks.
I honestly wish I could move up north just to work for you Ryan, love your attitude and watching the channel grow this past couple years.
Hey Ryan hope you an the family has a wonderful Sunday!!!

Love watchin yall's videos. It seems like I'm gettin to know y'all even I never met y'all. God bless y'all! Your in my prayers.
That letter that was given to Daryl from Ryan is going to have to go into effect.
If all your workers had the work ethic and determination that you and Bugs do you’d probably live a stress free life. You sure inspire me Ryan! Another great vid.
if everything would be perfect life would be boring.
I’ve been told the same thing by my last three boss’s… “if I only had two more of you, or two more clones of you, I wouldn’t need these other 3 or 4 guys and I would have a lot less bs”…

Man I wish I had your motivation to get up and go in the mornings. It's probably the hardest part of the day for me.
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always Ryan & Crew!!!
I would just give Daryl the next week off (not paid, of course) as a suspension. I assume he will need to show up 40 hours the next few weeks after that. If not, time to move on and find another hand.
GOOD IDEA 👌👍👍👍👍
He gave Darryl a written warning stating that if he no showed again, he was gone. No more chances, no questions asked.
That's exactly what he should do
When I used to run crews if a guy started calling off too much or no shows, I'd send them home early or tell them I didn't need them on days when they did need the hours. Starve em out and make them quit. Can't collect unemployment if you quit also.
No showing is bad enough but no call no show is even worse my dad says if you no call or no show you basically quitting.
Hey Ryan I’m from Washington and really love your content keep it up !! AlwAys fun to spend my weekend just watching the vids every once and a while
It’s so sweet how Eric takes care of your mom. Always right there to help her. When you gave her the car he was hugging her so much. It’s sweet. 🥰😇🙏🏻
We started paying our guys on Monday instead of Friday and it solved a lot of Monday no-show problems.
But are people not showing up Friday?
They will stop showing on Tuesday
Making workers spend their money on getting to work for the week and be broke by weekend family time. Pretty messed up way to make sure ur guys show up to make the owner rich.
@@johnperez93640 dude if they cant handle getting paid first of the week then they wont be able to handle keeping a job in the first place. also stop with that socialist talk about making the owner rich. the owner put up a boatload of cash to start the company and keeps having to put in cash to keep it running and improve working conditions for his self and his workers. if you are like bezo's yeah sure those are bad people but small bizz like victory don't get rich off the company they started. maybe when they retire they have a nice retirement but rich nope.

Bugs drives an hour each way to work , is usually early, even cleans out the boss' truck, unloads and loads equipment, brings his awesome dog to sites and even cooks for the guys. That man is low key about it all and just works hard ! Sometimes even before the rest even show up ! 🤣🤣

Ryan you've been more than fair with your employees. You gave Daryle his written warning and if he didn't follow up with so much as a text saying he was out that day then it's time to follow through with the consequences. It's a business not a charity. You'll make the right decision either way. On another note, you guys did a fantastic job on such a big pour and with the threat of no concrete. Hope concrete keeps coming in for the rest of your season! Stay safe and keep up the good work

Daryl, the most dependably UNdependable guy on the crew. Now he even has his son learning how to work when he feels like it, not when he's needed. I wouldn’t go to my coworkers wedding. We’re coworkers. I may get along and be “friends” at work but it ends at work. Just because it’s a wedding doesn’t mean I should change my life and schedule around. Some people might not have a sitter which, as a single dad, is the biggest obstacle for me so I just don’t do stuff unless my kids can go with me. Sometimes tho kids and events don’t mix.
I think its more of because they haven’t built a bond with mike yet.

I hope things work out for you.
You don't happen to live in Waukesha, WI do ya😂? I agree with you 100%!
I just posted a comment saying the same thing. I hate having to point my finger at Ryan but he’s allowing this. He needs to just put his foot down. Remember a few weeks before he left on his week vacation? He told EVERYONE any no call no shows, he was going to fire them and there would be no bonus?? Haha well apparently that worked! But he shouldn’t have to give them a flipping BONUS just to go work work! Heck in that case, my boss ows me A LOT of money! 😂😂. But seriously, Ryan is such a good guy and I wish he gets a break soon.

for 5 years when i worked full time as a mason, we were at the "yard" around 6:30 every morning. Usual time but as im a hard sleeper i have to set 3-4 alarms and will still manage to sleep through hall of them, its really not cool for either boss or me to be honest.
I have tryied so many different things to get more consistent to waking up in the morning but sometimes it just be like that. luckily i only missed a day every month or so, but it happened sadly
ERIC, you're a young man. Make the adjustments NOW. Boss-man notices and comments every day as to when guys show up. Do it for yourself AND the Boss.
With Eric running his own side business. you would think he would get it, and understand about being on time. But he tries to get the extra sleep in the mornings instead of shutting down his side work earlier to get some sleep.
About coming in late. I had problems with that in most of my jobs due to problems with sleeping as well as just lack of motivation towards life. Its hard to be consistent in a job when you see no reason in working hard or putting effort into your work.
