love your reviews. nobody else goes into as much depth on how they relate to enthusiast water cooling support. I've seen you get a lot of props on the JC Custom channel too. He always promotes your reviews and does some superb work too.
Bought both the NV5 and NV9 before christmas, 5 was for my nephews first PC, 9 was for me as i just fancied a change from my evolv x after 6 years, quality is off the charts on both. Got 14x140mm fans, 420 aio in push pull, strix 4090 fits perfectly with no crazy cable bends and the gpu bracket is great for supporting it, really can't fault either of them, not even sure how they managed to do the NV5 for £85 as i've seen cases double the price that don't com close. My intention was to do my first real water cooled build but the case with the phantek fans looks so clean, temps are really not warranting the price of a loop and all the fans are set to 40% super quite anyway.
I have the NV7 and couldnt be happier, this is the best case ive ever built in and the RGB controller erases the need for RGB software. Its a win win and paired with the d30 fans its absolutely stunning.
You did it! Thanks for the in depth review:) I already wanted the nv9. I’ve got the Enthoo Elite right now so this case caught my eye. No way to mod (3) 480s in there you reckon? Also, I was the person that mentioned the N. Love it!
furthermore I absolutely love what Alphacool have done in recent times. Their performance is second to none and the new designs that they have been producing are simply stunning. They are definitely my new favourite manufacturer of water cooling components because you get both incredible performance with pure beauty for the aesthetics.
@@MikeZak101 WHAHAHAHA, Dream on dude, it is the other way around. Phanteks has ALOT to learn when we talk quality ;) Ive bought 3 phanteks cases in the past and now the last 3 ive got where Lian Li. So I know what im talking about. Lian Li cases ar ALOT better quality. Im now owner of the Lian Li V3000+ case and this is my end station, I dont need anything more :D
@01Gamemaster10 so you had to spend $500 on a lian li case to find one better quality then a $200 phantek case, yeah that makes sense, and I'm the one dreaming
@@MikeZak101Where in my comment did I compared the V3000+ with this case. It`s my current case. I had also the Dynamic normal and the XL special edition witch cost 100 and 200 Euro`s. Both better quality. I like Phanteks, but there material is very thin compared to Lian Li. I like both brands but if we talk Quality alone, then Lian li wins from Phanteks.
07:20 Thank you SO MUCH for including the clearance of the bottom bracket and the motherboard! I've been looking everywhere and couldn't find anything. Fantastic review!
Do you think it would possible to put a 420 D30 AIO in the side but with the tubes exiting on the bottom instead? I'm toying with the idea of hiding the tubes behind a vertical mounted GPU but the tubing seemed rather tight in the video
Do you think I would get better cooling performance with 2x360mm and a Mora3 420pro or getting a case like this and filling it full of 420mm/480mm radiators? I really like this case, but I also like the versatility of a Mora.
Got the case right here next to me, still waited for this review before starting the build, you just make the most detailed reviews giving me ideas for my tubing runs
Been waiting on this one a while😁I'm still strongly considering this for my next build, and if not, using it for another build anyways because they're just that damn good. Also, I spy that white Enthoo Elite in the background, what a beaut that thing still is. I wish they'd release an updated one with a full white coloring, but c'est la vie. Phenomenal in-depth dive into another great case line by Phanteks.
Your build in this case made me buy it. I love the look. It's gonna be my first custom loop build... fingers crossed 🤞 that everything goes as planned 😅
For a case this big, the nv9 is not good it has a stupid back door non useful at all. Does not include any GPU VERTICAL bracket for the price. Only 2 usb 3.0 in the front, all premium motherboard had 4 so for "premium " case it fell short. No support for eatx motherboard, same thing... the 8 pin eps cables are impossible to move once you put the motherboard in the case... also that forehead is ugly... there is 200 better options at that price
the NV9 does support EATX, you just have to flip the RGB guard around and it allows for EATX, you can also just leave that off if you think its in the way or don't like the RGB, I will say though that 90 degree adapters are appreciated. I don't know of any cases that come with a vertical GPU mount for any price so thats a pretty moot point.
This is the best water-cooling channel in youtube, period. Thanks for the in depth review.

Killer review man - this is the type of review I was waiting for to pull the trigger. Thank you!
Thank you!
Why your channel is the only one on youtube which covers PC cases in such details?
Amazing content for custom loop enthusiasts.
100% agree. This is the spot for high-end build case reviews.
My NV7 case came with white cables. I absolutely love this case and all the changes they did to the nv9 I wish were on the nv7.
This channel is such a gem for watercooling enthusiasts.

I wish they had made a BTF version. Hope to see that soon in few months
Link to the Matt clear coat missing?
Such comprehensive reviews, especially with in detail radiator support, keep it up.
nice visual concept ;-]

Good job on the review, took a long time eh!
Yes I been waiting for a review like this I was thinking of this case or the evo xl i was leaning more on the nv9 cause of the 140s in the back
Love this build!
Love my NV9 build!!
I think the NV9 easily beats the EVO XL. Great review as always. Thanks
No external USB on top?
Is there clearance in the bottom slot for a slim rad and fans while using the Phanteks premium vertical GPU bracket?
Between that and the CTE C750, which one do you prefer?
i am puzzled between this and the V3000+ .
Id say for most, the NV9 would be best suited. Unless you want to go with a few 480 rads. Then the V3000+
Make Corsair 6500x build please.
Yes that is coming!
Da se vede cai mai mare MR9
delid delid delid!

Thank you, but do you know the measurements of the botom/back of the case? Is it 60 or 80mm in with? Thank you!
Phanteks copy lian li lian li nail id not this shit !!!!
lian li is very cheap quality compared to phantek, Ford sold the first road car, Ferrari perfected it
how about owning and testing both products first for comparison. From there your comment will be valid

14:53 Also same problem with top panel.
I absolutely love the NV7. The best case I own right now, but I truly wish it had the NV9 features and cable management door.

Hi
Corsair 7000d airflow
phanteks g500a
Asus proart pa602
Which do you think is best for long-term use?
The case with the best air flow...
Oh that's fkin gorgeous man. Great build.

what are those radiator covers ?
they look amazing making the pc parts looks like they were exactly made for the case
Can I install a 480mm X flow on the side?
The alphacool 480 just fits. So I guess if the x flow is longer than the alphacool it might not be able too

I would go with bottom intake fans and 3 rads at the rear, top and facing side.
