I love the fact that Matt and Michael are teammates! I looked into the Athletic Greens and although I love it, I chose against it due to cost. It seemed pretty expensive for my budget, so I use multivitamins from Target 🎯.

So I joined a new team/academy that my friends dad started and he’s made deals with some teams in Europe!!!! Yeah so I have a trial for some clubs later this year. Plus, I might have a tournament in Dubai against some of the best youth teams in the world!!!!!!

Hi Matt, maybe you should consider getting some orthotics for your cleats because protects your arch and prevents a noticeable amount of lower leg injuries (ex: shin splints). Currexsole cleatpro is a good option, you just have to pick your arch type (low/med/high).

Just a suggestion if whey protein is upsetting your stomach a little bit try to find protein that is mainly Whey isolate and not concentrate or hydrolyzed. Of any of the three types isolate will give you the least problems. ISO 100 is a good primarily isolate option.
I highly suggest you add rice with sugar on top for glycogen replenishment

The less body fat you have the better you perform, because the less less fat you have the faster you’ll be, the less weight you have to carry around so it would help with your overall performance.

Great video ! But gotta ask if it is the same amout of calories all days of the week ( I mean during training days like this intense day) or it differs due to the intensity of the training day you have or game days ??
It should be generally the same thing all week, but meals before your training or games should consist of higher carbs to fuel you
@@AJFooty thanks for the information but I thought i could a very much higher than the maitenace level of calories and could lead to weight gain.
@@khalilsaadani8290 if you’re typically doing intense training week round i recommend adding a couple 100 calories above your maintenance calories just to keep your weight, and it can help with your energy levels

Matt hardly eats any complex carbs like oatmeal, rice, bread and pasta.
Fruits and veggies are a good sauce of nutrients and energy but they don't give you all the energy needed for high enduarance activities
Hey Matt. Would you recommend mass gainer protein shakes for small players?
Protein shakes you have to be careful with because one you want to make sure they do not have any banded substances in them, that the league you play in might not allow. Another thing is that getting proteins from real food is the best way to do because it is a lot healthier and has a lot less additives in it. My best advice would be use the protein shake as a smaller tool but not the main source of your proteins. I hope this helps let me know if this would be a good video topic for my channel

There are a lot of ways to get to the pro level and hes done some videos in that past do you think this would be a good video idea for my channel?
@@CalvinFox31 it would be a great idea, compiled indept video on different ways, but I'm actually really upset, as my main way of becoming pro through academy, and I was already praised from many different managers. But my mother got me out of it so I could focus on studying
First of for young people getting into clubs and academies are the best way to improve, outside of your clubs train as well and try to always train with people better than you, because you automatically adapt and get better. For the second part, getting connections with coaches and players who’ve gotten pro gives you a good chance to contact teams. Everything is about risks, you might have to go abroad for a tryout or anything like that but you make risks to potentially get an opportunity

I use my fitbit and I am pretty sure he use his apple watch in my full day of eating video I just used my fitbit and it helped a lot

Hey man my best advice would be to make sure you take the full time heal so that you don't prolong the injury. Take the time you need for it to heal and make sure you work hard in rehab. Then just start build back up in baby steps. It takes time and don't stress it mindset is very important when coming back aswell as sleep and eating right. Let me know of you think this could be a good video for my channel.

@@devonhudson5461 Hey us keepers gotta stick together, my best advice would be to just to take it slow and take the time you need to recover, make sure you follow the the doctors orders and you will be all set bro. A lot of people get injured and sometimes they come back even stronger because of it.

You have a good point, but something that I have found to help me with busy schedule is planning before hand what I going to eat as a meal prep. It really helps me make sure I stay good with my eating and allows me to always have a meal. Balance is important.

The cholesterol myth is bullshit. Ronaldo and other players eat a diet high in animal products. They are packed with nutrients. Processed food especially trans fats and sugar cause heart disease.

use a calorie calculator on google and download a calorie tracker app on your phone if you want to track your daily calories, it should also let you know how many carbs proteins and fats you should eat
Hey Matt! How important do u think it is to train core if it is already indirectly trained by compound lifts?
Core is very important for a football It helps protect you from injuries and it also allows you to put more power on the ball people don’t realize that the core is the center of most of your power especially in public football for me I try to do a course session every day just to make sure I keep doing maintenance on it and keeping it strong if your quarters week you leave yourself open to the possibility of a lot of injuries let me know if you think this would be a good video for my channel

This is a good question for him, for me I don't drink at all its more of a mental edge for me I feel like I am doing everything to be better thenn the guy in front of me. I think balance is key but personally I try to stay away.
@@CalvinFox31 I agree I think balance is huge. I play in college and have noticed not many players know how to balance. It’s all about partying very often and then showing up to practice hungover. Most of them get away with it because they’re young and fit but I’m curious on his viewpoint on it
Also another thing, what do you think about players playing games while being high? This happens so much in college and they say they play better. And I’ve seen professional athletes come out and say they smoke before games and after for the recovery aspect so curious on your thoughts on that as well
