This is perhaps their most "radio friendly" song, and I really think everyone and I mean EVERYONE in North America should be requesting this on their local rock radio stations. THIS version! Floor actually had neck problems back when she was with After Forever. She went to a orthopedic doctor and chiropractor. The chiropractor got her going again and made sure she changed it sightly to ensure she wouldn't hurt it again. BTW, they do have an orchestra (the London Philharmonic and a choir singing with them on the albums and Tuomas runs side tracks of the orchestra and choir at the concerts. They usually play in Montreal when they tour. I live just an hours drive south, but didn't get a chance to see them until they played in Albany, NY. Best concert I've ever seen. By FAR! It was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive and hotel room to see them in 2018. I will see them again if they are within a 1000 miles from here! :)
They normally do shows in Vacouver, Toronto and Montreal when they tour North America. Due to covid, things are probably delayed until 2022 as their european and other tours all got delayed as well. They are doing 4 shows select shows in the US next year.

And those dates have been moved to next May now so I can only assume the Canada date will be too! Maybe a member of the Nightwish Army in Canada has a better insight there :) Keep up the great work.
Unfortunately there was a concert scheduled in Montreal but due to the virus it was cancelled. They are trying to get the tour going in 2021 but it is still up in the air.

Symphonic Metal allows them to take their music in several different directions.. They have the long, epic, multipart full production style songs.. They have several of the more classic thrash heavy metal style songs and, like this one, just about everything in between.. They also have songs with a bit of a Celtic folk rock vibe as well.. But, no matter what the style, all the songs have those signature symphonic elements that make the music so rich and full every time.. Take your choice, the Nightwish Army loves it all..
they usually always have a stop or to in Canada and were doing a show in Toronto but it was canned by Covid and they haven't added any new dates for Canada for next year...yet. This is Nightwish getting as close to "pop" as they do with Amaranth and Nemo being the other two more simplistic and mainstream style of song and often these are great songs to listen to for the new potential fan as they have a more familiar sound yet still retaining the Nightwish magic especially live :D
I just love Jukkas drumming, to bad he had to quit. He went on a hiatus in 2014 due to health issues, he had chronic insomnia. Love your reactions! Ginger, you described this one as a "straight up, kick ass piece of music" and I agree 100%. If you want to hear another similar "kick ass piece of music" you must react to "Romanticide" from the Wacken 2013 set, which IMHO is even more an example of straight up metal rock, Nightwish style. I think you will like it. A lot.

Thanks "Mike an Ginger" for all the good music all time! And W:O:A 2022 4.-6.August in Wacken/ near Hamburg/Germany with 75.000 Metalfans. Total sold out!
I've watched a lot of contemporary music videos these last 6 months or so (I find I have a lot of time on my hands) and I've come to the conclusion that Floor is the finest female vocalist on the planet. I'm not basing that simply on her Nightwish work; you've seen some of her other stuff so you know she's amazing. And I'm really not just a Nightwish fanboy either. I like they're performances a lot more than just listening to their music; very theatrical. And by the way, based on his more intricate compositions, I also think Tuomas is a musical genius! Metal Mozart indeed!
Listening songs of Nightwish is like picking sweet and tasty fruits from basket, lot of different fruits but all so good. If you like "Storytime", then "Last ride of the day" will also be song for you ( Example from Tampere live, great audio and video quality)

" I hope she tucks me in" Oh don't we all!
Such a great song! You may enjoy watching Floor in her first band After Forever - recommend Monolith of Doubt. Baby Valkyrie Floor with beautiful vocals!
great reaction thanx. this is happy mind music and excellent exercising music like you say :) thanx and have great day there.
Best symphonic metal band ever...........EVER. All the comments here cover all I would elucidate. Peace.
Thanks "Mike an Ginger" for all the good music all time! And W:O:A 2022 4.-6.August in Wacken/ near Hamburg/Germany with 75.000 Metalfans. Total sold out!
this is from the first half of the set..you can tell because Floor has pants on..for the second half she is wearing just the skirt portion.
"I wish I had an angel
For one moment of love
I wish I had your angel tonight"
Ginger's floorgasmic non stop.Wow!.
Nightwish is so much fun. When you're down, listen to Night Wish. Great Reaction !
EPiCA LIVE with a full Orchestra and Choir, just epic!
EPICA - Unleashed (OFFICIAL LIVE)
Ginger, remember that she is a Dutch singer, her neck is a perfect fit for windmills. She does it since After Forever, her first band.
Listening songs of Nightwish is like picking sweet and tasty fruits from basket, lot of different fruits but all so good.
If you like "Storytime", then "Last ride of the day" will also be song for you ( Example from Tampere live, great audio and video quality)
Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver in 2021
They have come to Canada.. Montreal Toronto Vancouver I think. I'm not sure how many locations they do up here.
Have fun with Nightwish? "I Want My Tears Back" Buenos Aires live.
"Nemo" live with Tarja is great too because you can see how she works an audience. If you could please!
Song of Myself-Last Ride of the Day- Wacken, Poet and the Pendulum- Wembley Arena
Ginger's haircolor and the reactions in her face are awesome! guys your'e both awesome. all the best from Germany . btw the background artwork is wonderful and same color as ginger's hair, nice, really nice :-)
Thank you! The artwork was a gift. We love it, too - G
thanks guys!!
the funniest thing in this video is still "hat guy" in the crowd ---> 4:59 and 5:06
He was at the wrong concert lol
Months ago, on someone else's reaction, that guy (or who claimed to be that guy) said he was plain clothes festival security. But, yes, he does stand out :)
This is a story everyone should hear !
4:59, the guy in the hat......EPIC!
You two are great. Love the Nightwish reactions with Floor.
Thank you! - G
they actually played in Montreal in 2016 . I think th original 2020 tour might have had Canadian dates but after cancelling due to virus the new tour next year may not. im sure thre are a fw in the states. California for sure.
Do 'ever dream' starts Slowly and the pace goes faster faster. And she keeps singing on a high powerfull note.👌🤯🥳

Got friends from around Toronto. Unfortunately, the show there has been cancelled. There are only 4 shows in the US next year...
I too get the "sh*t eating grin smile" when i listen to Nightwish. Dont Judge Me!!!
