What
Potara was so powerful it created a language barrier 😭😭😭
Potara - are kaioshin/god earings
Fusion Dance - comes from mortal dance
Basicallly any god in DB - can actually speak god language (except the ones who obtained only god ki, in theory)
Every mf mortal in every f***ing DB universe - can speak any language (mostly popular japanese/spanish/english and other dubs)

Vegerot is PERFECT for a Saiyan. It sounds like it could fully be the name of a Vegetable 💀
I personally think Vegito's name should be Vekarot, which lines up perfectly with Gogeta: one syllable for the first guy, two for the second. Plus it still uses Kakarot instead of Goku, to show the Saiyan pride angle.

I like Vegito, makes it feel more like the birth of a new entity rather than a fusion like Gogeta, which distinguishes them a bit more.
Gogeta- the combination of Goku and Vegeta.
Vegito- a new person born from the traits of Goku and Vegeta.
It even makes if you consider Vegito was originally permanent, before Super came in and made Vegito an inferior Gogeta.
I mean, technically Vegito is still better in 2 ways, they don't have to match power levels, and the time-limit is half an hour longer if they don't transform.
@@sebastienvondoom8615 yeah but giving Potara a timer made it way too similar to Metamoran, why get potara earrings when you'll only turn into Veku for a gag, retry, and get Gogeta, they'll never use Veku as anything other than a joke before Gogeta shows up and kills the bad guy. Even more, Gogeta blue seems way more sustainable than Vegito blue. Super just made Vegito seem like a less safe version of Gogeta.
@@Clowtser Vegito is both more powerful and lasts longer
@@sebastienvondoom8615 yeah, but Gogeta never defused, Vegito is used for nostalgia bait, Gogeta is used as a solution, that is until they decide that Vegito gets to be useful. I just think Vegito having a name that isn't just the fusion of Goku and Vegeta's names, but a new name with different letters, suits permanent Potara Vegito since he Super Vegito, while Gogeta is neither Goku nor Vegeta

Okay, so. For people that don't understand I'll try and explain.
For certain words, or names. Japanese langauge can or can't accommodate for it, so for example Kefla, the language can't spell "Kefla" like we do, so in their Alphabet they have "Fu" to accommodate for it, the English and Japanese DO match each other, its just the Japanese accommodate for it by using their alphabet, like my name will be spelt with "Fu" instead of "Fs" because they can't say my name like a person who can speak English.
As for names like Zamasu, and Gowasu, they don't say the "Su" as its silent.
Sorry for my terrible explanation but hope this helps, again, its done correctly, its their pronounciation and spelling is following the countriws Alphabet rather than the English or else it will be difficult for them to say and spell without using their characters/letters. Same goes for us, we can't use "Kefura" as it doesn't sound right, so we would say "Kefla" yes, there is no certain letters in their names, but again to say it properly, and to accommodate for it, they add it as its again, in their alphabet, that alphabet being Katakana, which makes words that sounds similar to English example.
"Sumatofon" in English, smartphone, why did they skip certain letters? Because their alphabet doesn't follow ours.
So, to correct you, no fusion names are NOT stupid. Yes, its silly and doesn't make sense, but when you understand why, it's not.
they usually say Sumaho instead of Sumatofon but yeah
@@ikiddrafzzi4445 they make enough sense in Japanese, it's when they get romanized that issues arise.

Kale has a E in her name, that’s where it comes from

If only Japan had today's Internet back in the 80s or 90s to reach the US to prevent mistakes like this.
Why? Were Japan too soft in terms of localization
@@SDBHFusionverse I think they're more referring to the fact they might have designed the names differently to make more sense when romanized instead of only thinking about how it sounded in Japanese if they had the internet.

Vegito is an awesome fusion name. I’ve never had problems with their fusion names.
There's an E in Kale's name
Am I the only one who understands the complexities of this ambitious cinematic masterpiece? Fusions aren’t stupid, you're stupid!
It’s kinda like how Potara is a compound, meanwhile Fusion Dance’s is a whole new element.
Compounds will have issues since it’s a mixture, but a whole new element will not being perfectly merged into something new.
The stupidest thing about fusion is that Gogeta and Gotanks are wearing white pants with a black and yellow vest, despite none of them wearing white, black, or yellow!!!
Lmao , if you really watch dragon ball you should have known where does the clothes of Fusion dance come from...
do some search
In case you haven't done your research, the fusion dance, or called the metamoran fusion, is created by a race called metamorans. If goku and Vegeta use the fusion dance, they'll have the same clothes as gotenks. It's because, the dance forces you to wear a metamoran outfit, which is why they have the same outfit. i was hoping they'd spell it "Kayle" so the fusion could be "Kayfla"
Fun fact, in the latin american/latin spanish dub they say "kakaroto" instead of kakarot, and they also keep some of the japanese names for the techniques, like the makankosappo (special beam cannon) the dodonpa (dodon ray) the kikoho (tri beam) the galick ho (galick gun) the taiyoken (solar flare) the genkidama (spirit bomb) and the kienzan (destructo disk)
its called changing an incidental letter to get a better sound
Honestly it would make sense thematically. Metamorian fusion requiring the users to be in sync. Leading to their names feeling more natural. While potara is more like an artificial form of fusion, so the names would be slightly more jank in that case.
I mean, to quote TFS "Gotenks is all Goten and a little bit of Trunks", but what else could you call him?
In fairness, Gotrunks would be mostly Trunks and some Goten and it sounds dumb. Gotunk would sounds like a disease.
My theory is that potara fusions give brain damage, which leads to weird names, and thats why metamorian fusion names are fine
It’s funny I find myself saying “Kafla” when talking about her maybe mimicking the sub 😂
"Kafla" has been accurately translated in the german dub

Its not how it works
Gotenks: "Trunkten sounds weird, but Gotenks is like, all Goten and a little Trunks. And I both know how this stacks. Okay, Gotenks it is, but I owe me one later. Yeah, I know."
Adding and changing letters to fit pronunciation is really common in English, especially when combining words, or adding suffixes and sometimes prefixes
Meanwhile Zamasu just fused with himself to avoid the confusion
Fun Fact: Kefla actually is called "Kafla" in the Argentina version of the DBS Manga
Vegito got the bad name of the stick, Kefla sounds cool
I do like the idea of Potara fusion names making no sense. You made it work.
Vegito is called vegeth in my country (vegeta + kakaroth)
I will only call him Vegito because Vegerot sounds like a pokemon
The “I “ in “vegito” stands for “I’m him” since he’s the stronger fusion
Kale literally has an ‘E’ in her name in English and kakarot does have ‘O’ as well.
Yet everyone threw a fit when Viz translated it as "Vegerot".
I personally like the fusions because they become really powerful.
Its like the frieza or freeza argument it just looks nicer
Does this mean Vegito is so powerful he breaks reality?
Side effects of potara fusion: you drop every single dub you are presented with, and you forget how to spell
