This was a great review but I can’t believe you left out the video verification. That’s such a huge benefit that only few companies offer in this day where police hardly respond due to the assumption that it’ll be yet another false alarm.
Stuck with the ADT system which was hard-wired into our home when we purchased it. Getting local service of their system is a monumental effort. Despite the fact that we have been paying bills from our home address for five years the local office was NOT, repeat, NOT, willing to send out a technician to our address (which they have in their accounting system) and confirm that we do in fact have an ADT system, and that the ADT system is sending a "needs service" message. Absolutely infuriating. We have needed service about three times since we moved int. Each time, lots and lots and lots of effort and conversations with bots. I don't even care about the substantive value of the ADT system compared to others. I would love out of this system.
I went to ADT when Google discontinued the Nest alarm and what a nightmare ADT has been. I have to deal with oversized sensors that gives false alarms and the damn batteries don't even last 3 months. None of my other Nest security equipment even works with the ADT equipment including the Nest cameras and the Nest smoke alarm. The ADT app is a cluster F. I can't even order accessories online from ADT as I have to personally call them and ask. I never had this issue with the Nest alarm and the Nest app.

Since it's wireless it can be jammed by the wireless jammers the criminals are starting to use. And unlike a traditional system, if they increase the price you can't switch to another monitoring company.
ADT is actually the only security company that’s never had a security breach, unlike all the other popular wifi cameras like ring or blink. They actually have third party testing to try and have people hack and break into the systems to identify vulnerabilities so it can avoid those issues.
@@sydneyboucher7316I think you are talking about security breaches for their alarm, which is true, but they have had a recent security breach into their billing system. It was apparently very limited and not a lot of customers affected. But their alarms were not affected.

What wait? I can view my cameras on the old app

3:55 FYI - once you cancel, your Nest Camera and smart devices will not work in the ADT+ app.
Question when you test out the Trusted Neighbor - does their Yale Lock work with Apple Home Key too?
Can you use existing nest sensors? I spent a fortune on the nest security system for them to just stop supporting nest detect earlier this year.
Sadly no one can use those sensors.
@@MorbidGod391Any equipment related to the Nest alarm is not compatible.
Love the review!
Nice! 🔥
All well and good until you need service or technical assistance. Cute buttons but no
real benefit form cut buttons.

That’s actually not true.
That’s old, unencrypted wireless sensors of yesteryear

@@sydneyboucher7316I’m not so sure. It has happened this year.
