Do a rock crawl. I have one and People are usually blown away how capable these are with a few mods.
I'm still blown away at how 1/10th scale crawlers handle!
I'd say go fast until you find some rocks. Never pass up an opportunity to go fast.

Nice build! Think the battery tray could be 3D printed maybe one exists out there. I find myself using so much 3D printed parts and even making my own stuff to custom fit into RC's.
Yeah,, def. I don't have access to a 3d printer (I know, I'm one of the last ones on earth!)

After seeing your builds, I want to build a fast Ultra4 style trail runner, what would be your choice the Wraith 1.9 or the much beloved RR10 Bomber or do you have another option??
Depends on what size you're wanting. Wraith 1.9 is quite a bit smaller and a different class vs. the Bomber. Durability wis, they'll both need quite a bit of upgrades to make them work for U4. The Bomber will be a bit more forgiving (2.2) but has that flawed transmission - most guys are running a standard Wraith trans in the bomber

Hi bud would you still happen to have the stock hood hinges cause I know you didn't use yours I lost one and I'm having a very hard time finding them even using the AX number and parts tree number on the Axial site it keeps saying that it's incorrect and I'm getting the info from my owner's manual

I want to build a very similar 1.9 wraith and want speed and no drag brake or immediate reverse and drive it like an ultra 4/rock racet style
That's exactly how I have the electronics set up now. It's very smooth and fast
You never see a crawler built like this and I think more should. With that system is it smooth enough that you can style do a lil crawling with? Everyone kept telling me it would destroy a crawler and your proof, thanks so much for the inspiration

crawl video first .i have just build a custom crawler front and rear steering i have cnc scx10 axles but i keep braking cvd joints on the front every time i take it out and i cant figure out why i do have 2.2 high mass rims and 2 stage foams and boom racing hustle tyres its got to the point i am thinking of selving it as it keeps braking the same part and the are stainless steel cvds to and ideas
Thanks Bruce - weird on the CVD's - which brad are you running? I've found the best to be the Axial Universals and the Vanquish (if you can find them). I've snapped Hot racing and Boom before

@@rileykairc That's likely the issue - pick up the axial versions and you should be good. Also, make sure you're not doing the forward reverse forward reverse thing, especially on asphalt - that will snap unis every time
