Can you use a 45° triangle ruler? Meaning 45° at point of ruler?
Hi Sharlie - That is a great question. While a 45degree triangle ruler would be similar, it might have lines placed in different positions from the CGR ruler that this pattern was designed for. Hope this makes sense! -Michelle

where does the background triangle that you cut into (3) 3" sections come from?

In step 2 of the pattern, right after the sentence that describes cutting the triangles from the background pieces, it says "Slice the remaining center triangle into (3) 3" tall sections for sashing (see next illustration). I"m not sure what the remaining triangle is. Maybe it is referring to all of the triangles cut from the background fabrics?
@@lindalandrum5703 Yes, that is correct. This sentence is referring to each of the 8 triangles - you will slice each of the 8 triangles into the 3" tall strips. Hope this helps! -Michelle

@@rhondaschellin8878 Following the cutting example in the video, this is doable without buying the specialized ruler. The bottom of the triangle is 9" wide (centered with 1" on each side of the 10" fabric square), and the top of the triangle is at the center point of the fabric.

I liked the project and instructions by the teacher however I did not like however, the video did not show any of the finishing.
