Lady you are the best. I am sure you could teach a turtle how to quilt.... You are truly Awesome... and thank you for teaching so so so many of us......
The first email I open each morning is from Jordan Fabrics. I have learned so much from you and Donna you always make it look so easy. Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials. Thanks for letting me join you while I have my coffee.
This was one of the best videos I ever saw. Excellent instruction. Thank you for your professional video. I am going to make just one block and hand quilt.
Donna, What a treat to wake up to this Tree Lot pattern. I recently purchased this from you along with Magnolia Metallica strips. Now I feel like I can get started with putting it together. Just need to choose my borders. My plan was to create the quilt but now I'm second thinking that the runners might be the way to go. Thanks so much for all your easy to follow instructions!!!!
Those are very pretty runners you made and I love how you did it and I have to use my new machine to make a quilt with and I had a box of material which did belong to my grandmother and was going to use it to make quilts out of it, but someone came into my old house and took the box out and I have to now start from scratch to make some quilts using new material to begin with. I have watched many of your videos and now know what I have to do and will be ordering material from you all to make my quilts and hope they turn out as fine as yours.
I love these elegant table runners/wall hangings. I prefer simple Christmas decorative items. The second one you made is my favorite, the one you're planning to hang on your front door. As always, your nails are lovely. Thanks to you, I've really been enjoying my two gold glitter party nails (ring fingers) for several weeks now.
This quilt has to be one of my most favourite quilts by Jordan Fabrics, it's so bright and cheerful, seems very easy and straightforward to make and looks so impressive. Thanks for the tutorials, long may they continue - your shop looks an absolute fabric lovers dream.
love watching and learning from your tutorials. But.....what I really enjoy is looking forward to seeing what Donna has chosen for nail polish this week!
Great table runner for the holiday. I think when I make it I am going to turn two of the trees the opposite direction so both people sitting on the ends will see trees right side up.
I love Donna's videos, she's so good at explaining all the details such as cutting, marking and pressing. I myself would make my trees all-red or all-green, and for a table runner, I might rotate two trees on one side to point towards the middle. But otherwise, it's another lovely Cozy Quilts pattern. Thanks for making, editing and posting this video! ~Diana from Toronto
Ms. Donna, again you have a great easy and fast design. I love the fabrics you show. also super nice new store. I just finished 2 of the sets you sent. I am amazed the shipments are here (Kentucky) in 2 days. Take time for the holidays and thanks so much for the care and attention in each of your kits. I'm looking at new machine, better and faster. Happy holidays.
Love the video bomb by you handsome cameraman in the iron reflection! Thanks so much for the inspiration on this table runner. Cozy Quilts patterns are very well written and so darn cute!!!
Love, love, love this table runner. How bad would it look if you put two of the blocks in one direction and the other two in the opposite direction? That way when you are sitting at either end of the table the trees would be upright.
Wow, I make a lot of table runners and going to do this one. I know how to do those trees and going to go through my Christmas stash, but I really really like that jelly roll and may have to order that, lol. Thanks for the great tutorial. Janet
Donna thank you so much for giving us tutorials on other holiday items like placemats and table runners. I have enjoyed them very much, and you make them simple and also I appreciate your tips during the tutorial. Keep them coming! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Have been looking for a Christmas table runner but kinda waiting for you. Knew you would come up with a good one, and you did. You have changed my sewing life. My projects are so much better since I've started following your advice. Thank you Donna. And thanks also to your family. Have a very Merry Christmas. Can't wait to see a video of your new store!
What a great addition for our holiday gift giving. The girls in my family are going to love this table runner. Thank you! Happy holidays to you and your family.
I agree with so many other quilters, thankyou and Merry Christmas to yo and your family , I can't wait to see more videos in 2018. You are a great teacher.
You really make my day when I see notification from you re another tutorial. That makes a beautiful runner. The fabrics are divine and your instructions are clear and exact, as usual. Love your nails and seeing Matt in the bottom of the iron😊Wishing you and yours a blessed Christmas. From over the pond..🤶🎅🎄
I really like this table runner, thanks again for taking the time and effort to put out such a great tutorial.I will hopefully be able to make this one for next Christmas!
Love your work always. I look forward to your teachings each and everyone of them. Your cutie nails are adorable. Merry Christmas to you and your family @ Jordans Fabrics
Since it's a table runner, could you turn 2 trees to face the other 2 trees in the middle, that way whichever side of the table you are on, the runner will be upright? Love the fabrics you used. Your instructions are so easy to understand. Thank you for a great Christmas project!
Yes, I thought the same. I was thinking that one could make a small row of something like ornaments/mittens or whatever in the middle separating the two directions. I do like this table runner!
Hahaha! Love the reflective iron selfie shot! Made me chuckle. Merry Christmas and thank you for all the very inspiring videos. Would love to visit your shop if I'm ever up your way.
I have the pattern I ordered from you and I'm working on the trees now. I'm making it a little different then yours and I'll try and send you a pic somewhere. You were a big help with your tutorial on this. I love listening to them but one thing I don't understand is it only takes you 15 minutes to do this and I have been working for days on mine. lol God bless you.
Thank you , I’ve been looking for this Christmas tree pattern, can’t wait to try it. I love all your tutorials so easy to follow and well explained. Lisa, York, England. Ps your nail always look beautiful.
Love those fabrics! I never was really a fan of batiks mostly because I wasn't interested in doing those elaborate paper pieced quilts with a million pieces ala Judy Newmyer - not that I don't like her quilts - I do but I just don't have it in me to make one!
I made these horizontally for a table runner, and I used just white, but when I was looking at the pattern, u do get an extra tree in the middle going the other way so if someone is sitting on the other side of the table they get that extra tree can be make in various colors of greens to looks like real pine trees and not take away from the original color trees.
I love how this has gone together. Your tutorial is wonderful. I would like to make a wall-hanging quilt with a large tree in the center that I can hang mini lights and mini ornaments on at Christmas time. Can I use this same principle of design to do this or is there a pattern to do something this size?
Just have to comment on the quality of Jordan Fabrics yardage and pre-cuts. I'm always pleased at the precision. Straight, sharp edges. Very flat and very clean. And the prices are excellent. Thank you for your efforts to send the best available and keeping the prices affordable. You folks are good people and you have my loyalty and my future orders. If I had any suggestion it would be for Cozy Quilts. I wish they would allow their patterns to be downloaded rather than snail mail only. Wouldn't that be awesome? Thanks again.
Thank you for sharing! Love all your videos! I’m trying my hardest to figure out how to make a Bargello quilt that has the shape of a Christmas tree in the center. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks again for sharing all your videos.
Beautiful as always. Question for you. When you add a strip of fabric to the top of the tree, how do you not lose the point of the tree? Does that make sense?! Love your tutorials, you explain it all so well!
You should have a 1/4” above the point in the tree top, I would sew with the point facing UP and the strip facing DOWN on your machine so you make sure you don’t sew through the point. It’s the same as when you sew the strips BETWEEN each tree.
I love your detailed seeing and cutting.
Your rated a 15 stars
Lady you are the best. I am sure you could teach a turtle how to quilt.... You are truly Awesome... and thank you for teaching so so so many of us......

This was one of the best videos I ever saw. Excellent instruction. Thank you for your professional video. I am going to make just one block and hand quilt.
Great pattern. You are such a good teacher. You make a potentially difficult pattern simple to make.

Love, love, love this table runner. How bad would it look if you put two of the blocks in one direction and the other two in the opposite direction? That way when you are sitting at either end of the table the trees would be upright.
