How My Lagos Blue Line Experience Left Me Speechless!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 бер 2023
- In this video, I've shared my story about my experience using the Lagos Rail Mass Transit system. I took a trip to Marina, Lagos to check out the Lagos Blue RailTransit system and I couldn't believe how amazing it was! The system is very efficient and easy to use, and it made my trip to Lagos a lot more enjoyable. If you're ever in the area and want to experience some of the best public transportation in Africa, then I highly recommend using the Rail Mass Transit system and enjoying the Blue experience. Commuters from Mile 2 get to enjoy a less than 20 minutes trip on rail compared to the 1 hour plus movement! This initiative is part of the means to decongest traffic in Lagos state. The government has completed a 13-kilometer stretch of monorail public transport construction which started in 2010, it has experienced so many delays in various administrations. Watch Out for Red Line.
You can see the joy, and pride on the faces of the people...congrats...Lagos, Nigeria
And thats what the people want, just provide infrastructures for the masses and let their be security, you wont have to threaten and intimidate people to vote for you if you are indeed working for the people and not working for your pocket and one godfather somewhere
Impressive.
I hope they maintain the facilities.
Watching this from my home country of South Africa and I marvel at the beauty of Lagos. Wow. Well done my Naija brothers and sisters.
Nice bro, we have standard gauge rail in Nigeria, in other places in the country

MAINTAINANCE,MAINTAINANCE...That is a word that is TABOO in Nigeria. I hope this works. Nevertheless, good to see that Nigeria is SLOWLY but surely moving with the times...BRAVO👏👏👏
Oh wow. I didn’t know this happened. This has been one of my lifelong dreams to see. 😭
Well done my Naija brothers from a very impressed South African.😊
It is good to see signs of progress in Lagos, Nigeria. Lagos needs more of such incentives across the board, including health care systems and adequate electricity supply for the population.
Or more cities can be open up in other states, spread the the development and reduce pressure on Lagos. I am sure Lagos will appreciate that better.
Amen! The whole of Nigeria does.
@@chibuikemeliezer8733 ....this comment shows we all understand the benefits of living in a healthy and safer environment. Nigeria with all her resources and wealth, if the money 💰 is used appropriately rather than being dropped into some lunatic criminal politicians bank accounts home or abroad, surely Nigeria would have being the Dubai of Africa if not for West Africa. Those corrupt politicians with millions of dollars 💸 in their accounts have sabotaged Nigeria progress, to the extent of not having regular electricity and water. And roads which are not fixed causing serious fatalities across the country. Too sad to see Nigerians on the streets of various towns, being subjected to extreme levels of poverty, while most have considered begging a way of living. Those minority millionaires with more than enough should consider helping the under privileged.
Kudos Teflon, lovely content, keep it up bro. I am a UA-camr as well. Your voice sounds like that of Tayo aina 😄
Just like trains system here in Canada, I’m impressed actually
This video is super clean and the great storytelling techniques bro
He didn't state the travel time and possible train fare
Glad you liked it
Great video! Well done
Wow this is so nice! Great video and narration too 🙌🏾
Nice video. Thanks for sharing
we need more of this ! i love tol see it
I wish The Blue Line well in Lagos . My only worry is that, Nigerians lack a "culture of maintenance" .We use to have a "culture of maintenance" before the 1970s ,but that disappeared when the evil culture of Oil Boom started in Nigeria. The notion then and what it is now, is to say "we go buy another one!, but we have Oil money to afford it!" If they could strictly adhere to maintaining the Line ,Power Source,Trains,Tracks and Staff Training, then The Blue Line will be a major success!
True indeed. I have talked about this maintenance issue amongst family and friends.
we love to see this types of developments 👌
I would really love to have this experience soon! Nice one for Lagos😊
Awesome 👍
I love this cudos to the lagos state government for giving solution to the one of the problem of the state❤
This makes me proud as a Nigerian. This is world class at its finest 👏 👌.
Looks nice
Good but I hope Nigerians and the government will improve on our maintenance culture
This is nice.
Awesome 🔥🔥🔥Eko ba je ti
Lovely! Go Naija! 🇳🇬🇳🇬
clean pictures....
"Undertaken by China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) since 2010, the completed tracks of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line project span 13 km in the first phase and cover five stations."
Asiwaju pls do the same for Nigeria. Almighty give you strengh to deliver a Nigeria that will make all proud and united.
They have a rail system in Nigeria but lack of security infrastructure is the main issue
He did not win. Do he can't lead. Am from edo state. The truth is bitter
@@ochiegodfrey6428 Yes he didn't win in Edo but he won in Nigeria
@@ochiegodfrey6428 who won? Atiku 2nd or Obi 3rd? Besides, someone doesn't need to win your state or the whole of southeast before he can become a president.
You dey ment
Please ooooo lagosians and every reasonable citizen. Don't litter or use this facility without care. Behave abeg. This is good !!
Impressive! Eko oni baje o
Wow !
Wow it is so beautiful ....
Dope video but please lower or don't play music when you or someone else is speaking as it makes it hard to understand what is being said. Otherwise dope content.
My problem is, will they maintain it?
This is a welcomed development in Lagos but my problem is sustainability.
Well done Nigerians 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Lagos, new York of the África 😊
Josh, unless I missed it. Are they planning to have the blue line have outside lagos?
it's a lagos state plan. Every state can do same from their monthly FAAC allocation and IGR. it cannot extend outside lagos because this isnt a Federal government thing. You all should make ur governors accountable.
Can I download and repost 🎉🎉
Is this the one we saw people pushing
Na the same rail dem de push day before yesterday?
LOL , I don't want to be synical. But, that was my first impression when I saw this video. Is this not the same train video that my friend Ben sent to me to watch. The train was been pushed under man horsepower . I am cognizant of the fact that Rome wasn't built in a day. Keep up the progress lagos.
Hopefully the NIgerian government has put measures into place whereby the Chinese contractor trains Nigerian employees on how to build and maintain this rail system, in order to build indigenous competency long-term in this area. This is what China itself instituted back in the day, with Western companies who wanted to do business with China.
This is beautiful and why Nigerians dont stay and work the country
We are 200 million people living in Nigeria, few people left not everybody.
I can see a lot of criticism in the comments.. Some of you are just bitter but acting patriotic, so out of this nice compilation you didn’t see any good to say about it 🤦🏼♂️,, we wonder why western media potray us as we depict ourselves .. Nor be same abroad we self Dey go ?? Some people will be comparing Lagos to Dubai with petro-dollar 😆 … Eko o ni baje oo
You have a decaying economy and you are blaming the people for criticizing a wicked and wasteful leadership.
Jagaban master plan must continue in Lagos
Why Chinese flags in the Train, didn't they receive their payments of construction, or their interest on the loan?
It's built by the Chinese, The China Civil Engineering Construction Company, a subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation.
@@ayobampilo5762 Did they built free or get paid? So why is their Flags on it when they collected money for their services?
@@solathelatestajalatravel6122 Have you paid back the loan they gave you?

How can you compare Lagos revenue to Anambra revenue
Illiterates like you are the reason Nigeria is still backward
Y'all bringing Nigeria politics to UA-cam? Man I'm sorry for your kids are
@@tobbsbrown50 the kids from a particular place and tribe are the ones that brought all these on social media. We are just sick and tired of remaining silent. They call Nigeria Zoo yet they can't keep away from the zoo because they are the animals in the zoo.
Same people will be saying the current government isn't working and they wanna vote some inexperienced guy as governor
What do you people really mean by this experience sef??..... You mean if you are made the governor today you would not know the right things to do for your people? Or is it experience in how to thief money? Abi is the governor the one to construct the railway? Smh
LMAO the current government is working that's why more than 100m Nigerians are living in poverty
With the kind of resources Nigeria have
If only you knew what your peers in other countries enjoy. But I understand. When you have been thirsty for so long, a drop of water satisfies you. In a state as rich as Lagos, comfortable transport infrastructure is the least you should expect from Government and it ain't rocket science!!!
@@aipboess7138 I totally agree Lagos is a mega city with out mega infrastructure you can imagine how much time has been lost over the decades in respect of hold ups and let’s not talk about fuel scarcity
@@aipboess7138 You are ignorant to think these new guys have anything to contribute when their leader Obi who ruled Anambra for eight good years cannot show just one thing he did to warrant surrendering our future to them. Things are slow do due to limited revenue compared to other countries, not because of incompetence.
When will Nigeria security architecture stop this nonsense of security operatives from carrying long and visit riffles in public? Is their any war going on there? Just scaring people up and down, we don't just learn from the western world at all
State police will correct that.
They must carry weapons because of people that want to break up the country 😢😁😁
No escalators just manual stairs? Jesus Christ why are we not advancing?
I dey London here. Not all train stations has escalators. Are they not advancing. Most train stations here have stairs and lifts.
Because made in china 😂😂😂
There are lifts there.
The escalators have being ordered.
Excalators not easy to maintain even elevators too.....but not for rough Lagos public how over its necessary ..talking from NYC experience.
Smelling city.. everywhere is smelling
if all the looted money from the was returned we could metros in Lagos, Abuja, PH, Ibadan, Kano, Enugu. Oh wishful thinking, O ti Lo !!! Izz Gone!!
Tinubu and his Boys are doing what no government has ever done in Nigeria but some people are spreading hate speech against him. My advice to Yoruba is that they should stick to this hero he is father better than most of our politicians.
I hear Obidiots are saying peter Obi built something like this in Anambra
That train will not be getting to Amuwo odofin because they didn't vote for the present government. Voting is about interest . But they voted on sentiment and not about priority needs...
It will be interesting to see how the "area boys" will get "their share" of all this money.
For those that are wise this is exactly what will end Agbero
@@kayodebanjo Amen ooo !!! And also normal citizens should behave and don't litter
We know we have blue line you Don't need to show us

Payments haven't yet been completed!.. otherwise green white green should be there first!.
Bro stop kidding yourself... do you know what accommodating 200 thousand passengers is
Old ass train 😂😂😂, it's 2023 . You guys are letting these euro countries dump their old trains on y'all and probably for the price of new modern trains
U lie it is not Lagos , it is America! the US !
No it's Accra 😂😂😂
Took 15 years to build 1 rail line loool Nigeria and political thieves....smh
Lagos blue line train using diesel to run 😂😂😂 compare Bangladesh Metro train made japanese technology looks much modern compare to Lagos blue line 😂😂😂
The electric power infrastructure would be ready at the end of April when operation would commence.
Feel free to relocate to Bangladesh nao.... enemy of progress

This is a nice development. I hope there will be blueline for lekki/ajah axis
the lekki ajah own is green line, which will come up after the ongoing red line is completed. I hope ur bitter obi has laid the foundation of something like this in Anambra.
