Years ago before the Earth cooled i was 7 a man tried to get me into his car. Fortunately he didn't get out but kept motioning for me to get in. I ran down a driveway and he didn't follow. He was older I remember. So glad that little boy was brave and safe.

That boy is a champion! Did everything right, made a lot of noise, tried to run and was ready to go on the offense as a last stand. His parents should be very proud.
I feel like that's a solid strategy for self defense that I don't remember ever hearing from anyone, make noise, make a lot of noise, make it your goal to let every single person know. Sure, yelling words isn't going to slap cuffs onto a threat but if you make noise someone could call the police, could come have a look what's going on and maybe help, hell even just yelling enough could make the threats worry about potential witnesses. But he did find safety in his home, didn't he? He either had been taught what to do or thought carefully & devised strategies. In either case, someone in his home (& probably at school too) developed those skills in him & kept him safe. Giving him a key would be an excellent idea as well! I see people talking about how the parents should've given the kid keys, but no one said they didn't. He could've have them in his bag, and if he tried to take them out, the guys would've reached him before he could open the door, or even find his keys due to the panic. The kid was smart and went to the neighbours' house instead of grabing them.
Cherry Miria that’s true and if he unlocked the door and went in they could have gone into his house to take him as there was no adult to protect him therefore if he went into the neighbours house, they would think there would be adults
ya i 100% agree with you on this, he couldve easily went inside, but with the panicking it makes it way harder and he atleast didnt act in panic, smart kid
Yeah, but why weren’t the parents home? That kid is too young to be home alone, especially at night. He also is too young to be walking down the street alone at that time of night. Even though it was 6pm it was dark. And if this was a normal routine then why wouldn’t they be home with the door unlocked? I’m sorry, but they were being naive and foolish. I can understand panic and him not grabbing the key to get in the house. However, his parents put him in this dangerous situation as there are weirdos out at all times and children that age need to be either with a parent or another child, not by themselves because then they are vulnerable to predators. They are very lucky that there son had good instincts and got away unscathed.
Man he sounded like he had his shit on lockdown. Planning his next move. He reacted and made plans so quicky the millisecond he realised the door was locked.
Smart boy and I’m SO glad he’s ok. How scary for him. If his parents knew he was walking just 2 houses down where were they? Why was the door locked and he had to run to a neighbors home?
Exactly! Why lock the front door if you're expecting your kid to come home? We don't keep our doors locked at all until we're going to bed. What a bunch of weirdos.
for real. you start to think that's where it ends. that this was meant to be. scary as shit. clearly, he expected his door to be usually unlocked but I really hope all parents can give their kid a key in case. always.
@@Luckimee what're they gonna do? Did you see how beefy that kid's dad was? he probably has firearms, and they have them on the cameras, so they're probably not gonna let their kid outside for a bit.

@Calynn Soosay - and this is why I'm kind of upset at his parents too because they didn't prepare him for anything. He shouldn't be walking home at night by himself and he should have a key to his own home, a cell phone and someone to greet him when he gets home. Those perverts most likely have been watching him walk by himself home for a while now. They know he is an easy target because his parents aren't paying attention.
Exactly. This happened to me a ton of times when I walked alone as a teen. I don't want to hear the bull sh that kids HAVE to walk home alone. No they do not stop making excuses for your lazy parenting. My adopted parent used to work but she was always home when we got home when I was little and we all walked home together cousins and friends. We were taught not to leave each other alone or we were in trouble. But let's get it straight she could have walked home with us once she retired (she retired early we were still in elementary then) but she didn't. It's not going to ruin your day to walk home with your kid from school if you can or be home when they get off that bus!
But it is a good experience. It can help in the future if he were ever to meet a much more intelligent kidnapper who says something other than "wan sum candy, boi?", he would be 110% mentally prepared. Although I'm not saying every kid should get kidnapped, of course.

Bro I swear his parents did a really good job telling him how to act. He went immediately on furious mode. I once was walking in day light empty streets. There were 3 kids on the streets and a car stopped at them. They started taking few step back like making some distance with the car. So I rushed to them as I approached the car the car starts leaving. I asked them did they know that person? They start telling me the person wanted directions. I had to explain to them never to stop walking when a car approach and how they should immediately go not waiting for the adults to get out of the car to talk to them because if the person wanted direction they would have asked an adult and I was just behind them on the road. These freaks are everywhere people should really tell their kids about it.
@jeremy manchur you reckon? “We’ve got candy”. “Get in the car”. No. They weren’t just in it to scare him if he’d got in do you actually think they’d have slapped him on the back and said “just kidding!”? They wanted him. They were maybe a bit uneducated in the way they hung around but they wanted him for either molestation, killing (or both) or child sex ring/selling.
@jeremy manchur honestly i also thought that they were in it to scare the kid from the fact they stayed outside. they’re putting themselves in exponentially more danger by waiting, which makes me think they didn’t have intent to kidnap.
I'm glad this kid was thinking on his feet. that is like an actual nightmare. trying to get home to safety but the door is locked. he screamed to draw attention, picked up rocks to throw and then noticed a neighbor's door was open. idk what would've happened had it not been.

I thought she was being paranoid, so told her to follow me as we took streets we normally wouldnt. The car stayed behind us about 20ft but slow rolling the entire time. It had the illegal blackout tint so we couldnt see who was inside. After 10min of them following us that slow I yelled for her to run with me to a house with the tag in the window, we knocked and they opened up, we pointed to the car and the woman called her husband to the door to watch the car and us while she went to get the housephone for us to call my mom to pick us up. We were around 13 at that time and my neighborhood was one of the safest in the city, so both our parents and the family who's door we knocked on was really shocked.
I have cameras in my house that watch my front door and street and back of the house. Thanks to those cameras I helped my neighbour get her stolen property back lol. We were able to identify the vehicle, watch him park, check out the neighborhood, run to her property and grab her garden decor and take off. Not even a week later she noticed the same car in her backlane a few doors down. She sat her butt on the tail end of the car until the house owners daughter came outside and asked her what the heck she was doing, she asked if the person who drove the car was home. She said it was her boyfriends and called the boyfriend out. Bingo, same lanky 6ft4 bald dude from my video camera. He tried to say it was his roommate and that she was wrong, when she told him I have you on video he confessed. He said he would bring the stuff back but a week later still nothing. So my neighbor went to the daughters father and showed him the video, he called his daughter and told her to tell her boyfriend if he wants to keep his legs to drop off her stuff now or HE would take the video to the cops lmao. The dude dropped her stuff off a few hours later. Only this time he drove by my side of the street, stopped in front of my house, looked in the window and saw the camera, popped the trunk waved at my camera that he was putting stuff back and then left. My cameras arent even well hidden, they're pretty obvious so criminals know to leave our cars alone on the street. Best $30 security camera ever haha

Best way to escape that situation😂🤣
Kidnapper: it's diet candy tho.
Kid: ight I'm in.
@@plasmanova6275 lol is there such thing cuz idk xD
Yep i well say that
Haha, and I feel like this days kids my age(13) and his age all know what that means. It's the first line we're taught to be vigilant about. And unless he was like 4-8, no one would fall for that. But I mean I don't know kids can also be pretty dumb
My heart hurts watching this 😢 what a brave young man glad he’s ok
Let’s all take a moment to acknowledge that not all kids are as fortunate as this boy.
True… 😔
Unfortunately the world is full of sick demented people that have no morals and should be put down. The things that have to go on in someone's head for them to try and kidnap a child is unbelievable.
My child was taught to say, stranger, danger yelling it, at the top of his voice. To alert other's, to a would be kidnapping!
That just gave me chills
Very true, but thats not to take away from the kids immediate reaction to the door being closed, and his decision making on what to do after.
He did exactly what he was suppose to do in a situation like this. Run, yell, don't be afraid to go into a house, show that you are ready to defend yourself etc. take notes ppl.
It’s obvious stuff
@@Sfaegbe You are wrong and should keep your mouth shut. Those things are not obvious at all to a young child in a terrifying situation. There are excellent teaching programs to prepare kids for such situations.

😢😢😢😢
That poor kid. He was so brave. I am happy he fought for his life so quickly. I am not his mother but I am so proud of him. All the way from Trinidad and Tobago. He is really smart and you did so well whilst he was terrified. Some people or children cannot act or they just freeze when terrified. I held back tears watching this near kidnapping but this child's bravery in fright was so remarkable❤ I am happy the neighbour's door was open😮
I'm impressed by his awareness, assessment of what was going on, decision making skills and bravery. Way to deal with a tough situation kid.
Teapot Inc omg yeah we know we see it on every other comment but dude this guy was just saying what a good job he did, i agree. Him not actually throwing them right away and just running to the neighbors. Could’ve escalated the problem.
He handled the situation very well, especially for his age, he seemed like he was thinking through every step he made. Kid has a future for sure
That’s what I was thinking. Every decision the kid made was correct and showed forethought in an extremely stressful and dynamic situation.
yeah, he was very aware of his surroundings. Kids these days need to learn.
The fact that they remained outside when he went into the neighbors house, is astonishing. Unbelievable!!
@@NailHeavenAshford Sounds like a sick prank to me too. Man even pulled out the movie kidnapper catch phrase.
@jeremy manchur honestly i also thought that they were in it to scare the kid from the fact they stayed outside. they’re putting themselves in exponentially more danger by waiting, which makes me think they didn’t have intent to kidnap.
@jeremy manchur could be honestly but still that just wrong todo even if it's a prank or some
I'm glad this kid was thinking on his feet. that is like an actual nightmare. trying to get home to safety but the door is locked. he screamed to draw attention, picked up rocks to throw and then noticed a neighbor's door was open. idk what would've happened had it not been.
The scariest part is that the didn't leave when he caused a commotion. Usually kidnappers will back off when they're outed. These guys stuck around.
They probably thought that the neighbors will kick him out of the house and waited to see if he came out
No, it was just some lost dude. trying to figure his way out of the neighbourhood.
That says to me, they've done it before & they're getting cocky & over confident.
Probably a stolen car that's why they don't care about hanging around in it. They're just going to abandon it anyway
@@neymarjr_. are you well? ur saying a car full of men that quite CLEARLY attempted to kidnap this kid were just lost and not stalking him????? ur not well luv
Letting your kid walk home in the dark was probably your first mistake... No matter how short a distance, that child is your most precious gift. A parent should always consider their children's safety.
Used to be the norm in America, is still the norm in countries like Japan. It shouldn't be dangerous to be a kid in your own city!
@@ChiefofSinnersThoughIBe Shouldn't be. But it is unfortunately. This world is full of sickos.
They do, but Jesus parents can't be there all the time.
Unfortunately not every kid is going to be as vigilant as this guy. Terrifying
@cinema tv I mean it's just like any other walk from the school bus millions of kids do all the time
His parents should have given him a spare key to enter with.
wow these are DANGEROUS kidnappers, they stayed watching even after he yelled and threw rocks and even running to his neighbors! wow! i am shocked they are so bold to stay around!!
Yeah. Kidnappers that bold often get desperate at that point.
Human traffickers have a quota to make.
@Jem Harper
After pondering this, I think they are probably high school kids doing a prank.
DEMONS
@@dootdoot94xo44 sounds like it right? Like who the fuck does he talk to to know they have a quota? Which sounds like a load of bs to me. Alot of people on UA-cam lie out they're asses for attention or to seem as if they know stuff others dont. Usually lonely losers with no friends.
I'm sure everyone has cameras in that nice neighborhood. Someone has to have the better footage of the car
That looks like a white Toyota Camry 09-15
Time to step up neighborhood watch.
@@commonsense5506 yes!!! I think it needs to be a thing again, big time. As a kid we always knew which houses to trust with the big stickers. And our parents conversed with the neighbours and so we knew who was wackadoodle and who was trust worthy. A friend and myself were walking home around 7 or 8pm from another friends one night and she told me a car had been following us.
