With his "melted" face, Till kinda looked like Gothmog from LOTR Return of the King, only with a blonde wig. Kudos to the makeup artist.
The ending with the knee is a reference to Till himself i think. He dislocated his knee during a show I think and slammed it back into place. That move has since been called the "Till-hammer." He does it alot live where he bangs his leg with his fist :)

It always make me laugh how they pan to Flake when the "harder" is shouted. Poor Flake, always considered the least physically strong member of the band. The prosthetics are outstanding in this video-directed by Joern Heitman who they've used on videos like Sonne, Auslander and Ich Will. The caricatures of various celebrities are brilliant in this and I love the contrast between the audience who have grown old gracefully and the band who just look grotesque overall. It's a biting comment on society's need to hang onto youth no matter what the cost and there is a clear dig at the hair bands of the 80s and early 90s. Loved the song and the video, there are reminders of Keine Lust in both- a serious topic addressed in a tragi-comedic manner. Get thee behind me, vanity!!
And yet he is probably the most proficient musician of the whole group.
The gimmick is funny as fuck though.

You should definitely react to some of their older stuff as well. "Du riechst so gut" might be my all time favorite of them. "Mein Herz brennt" is also a masterpiece. And of course their newest song "Angst".
Oh and I nearly forgot "ich will". Must see!

Seems like we have no other choice than doing that.
Rammstein used there songs to show the hoistory from the old split germany or to criticize specific topics. Like this song is complete about plastic surgery and one of the best part is in my eyes the sing : "It can't go without pain" but in the end they sing "It can go without pain Nicer, bigger, harder...."

Rammstein makes really good Musikvideos.
You could react to Video "Radio" or "Mein Herz brennt".
There are two Videos of Mein Herz brennt. A normal (rock) Version and Video of the Song and then also a classic piano Version, where Till act really good as creepy clown. But both Versions are great.

I don`t know, if you react only to Studio Videos, but this is it realy worth.
"Steh auf" and "Frau & Mann" by Lindemann are 2 perfect videos to react to, especially for the purpose of analyzing video techniques.

I see this song as a glimpse into what bands/stars do as they age. They want to maintain that perfect image and that means plastic surgery. They all portrait this well with Oliver tattooing a beard, Paul putting in false teeth, Schneider gluing on his hair piece, Richard putting on a fake six pack, but yet Flake doesn't have any work, and Till, ya his face melting off....
