I recall those days in the early 1970's back before I grew up and my eyes opened wide to gizmos which the better-off kids brought to school to show off such as the first fragile LED watches with poor battery life. Its hilarious because I suggested this just over a week ago on another channel, and some crazy poo poster accused me of being some kind of crazy "conspiracy theorist", he insisted they would brag about it if it were true, I tried to explain to him what a NDA was, but no he had a "Law" "degree" and non disclosure doesn't mean non disclosure apparently 🤣

When the Samsung S24 phones came out, all of the influencers were doing the exact same early review with the same talking points in the same order. It definitely looked like Samsung gave them all the same script and expected them to stick to it.

It’s so unfortunate that despite being the most viewed tech reviewers and having a significant influence on tech community, people like Mkbhd, MrWhosetheboss do this. Instead of critiquing the products or companies for not pushing the boundaries of innovation and not being consumer friendly (like charging adapters, usb-cs, webapps what not) and standing up for the entire user-base they just keep banging on about a small incremental upgrade over previous generation in some obscure feature/hardware which doesn’t matter to 99% of the world. I really lost respect on MrWhosetheBoss because of his reviews in the last couple years and same is happening with Mkbhd after his Vision Pro videos.
It’s no surprise that companies that are actually driving the innovation are the ones posing the biggest risk to such creators with AI generated content and what not. Almost ironic.
No wonder Mr whose the Boss didn't drop a review yet 😕

To be fair a lot of companies pay for reviews, its just judging by the insane level undeserved praise they receive for things like iVision, iTelePhone and 8GB of Ram, it's reasonable to assume Apple is probably the most prolific.

as he said, if the reviewers don't talk good about a product, the companies stop sending them products (but send it to other reviewers). This reduces views and money, so the reviewers speak good. Also, Apple also quotes reviewers (obviously if they speak good about the product)
