Thanks sir, an easy repair! The Ridgid rollers are discontinued, as far as I can tell. I ordered the following part numbers from Cutech. RP 40200-098_Outfeed Roller and RP 40200-104_Infeed Roller. $11.99 each plus shipping. For $33.97 I have a repaired machine. Thanks for taking the time to create the video!
Thank you SO much for making this! I got a steal of a price on this planer, but noticed the rollers were at the end of their life. Actual process took just 30 mins, but getting the new rollers back into the sprockets and gears took forever and took some finagling. Works great now!
I watched this in hopes of finding a solution to my problem. I had one of those sprockets break. You are correct they are captive. Without serious disassembly it’s impossible to replace that broken sprocket and get the chain back on. BTW It took me months to find that sprocket. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for the video. I took the roller out of my planer to clean it not realizing the drive chains would come into play so I have a mess on my hands but at least now I have a starting point.I thought if i loosened the 4 allen bolts on each end of the roller I'd be able to remove the roller to clean it. The left side dropped down and now I can't get enough tension on it to put the allen bolts back in. I went to Home Depot and couldn't find anyone in the tool department so it was a wasted trip. I think you've given me enough information to get it back in place. Thanks
I also cannot find the rollers anymore. They seem to be unattainable. This is an unfortunate development. That being said I think you might want to try the tricks in this video. If you do try them please post how it worked for the rest of the community. ua-cam.com/video/WZrBkIyCQhA/v-deo.html One other thing, Wahuda is still selling this model of planer. It may be worth it to check back in with them now and then to see if they get them back in stock.
The place I bought them no longer has them. I would look at the parts for a Shop Fox Parts for W1877 - 13" Benchtop Planer. Look on Grizzly tools. I believe they are the same. www.grizzly.com/products/w1877/parts
I have the same planer. I bought it used and the rollers are damaged - I knew this when I bought it and it still functions. I'd like to replace the worn rollers but can not find them anywhere. Rigid parts says that they are no longer available. Where did you get the replacement rollers?
Keep in mind you will have to get outfeed and infeed. I only sent you the one for infeed. Here is the Outfeed. www.cutechtool.com/Outfeed-Roller-Fits-Model-40200H-p/40200-98.htm
I beleieve Ridgid designed this machine to wear our at a specifice time and discontinued making parts for it so they could get you to buy a new machine. I have Several Ridgid Machine and will buy from a different manufacturer in the futur. All done here wih ALL ridgid tools because of what appears to me as designed absolence of produck. Where has the old Craftsman Brand gone.?

That's great Denny, I'll bet there are allot of folks that would like to know where you got the rollers.
I ordered in October of last year but looks like it it currently sold out
I just bought this planner from a guy who ran pallet wood with nails the out feed roller has groves and it is sniping the heck out of wood
Thanks so much for this video. Saved me a lot of grief. Very kind of you to post it
I'm glad it was helpful. Maybe a bit wordy. LOL

Jeanne I'm glad if it helps. I realize how much I use the internet to help out with projects and hope I am giving a little back.
Very helpful video! Thanks for posting. Just what I needed.
I'm pleased it helped
Where did you find the replacement rollers? Everywhere I look online says they've been discontinued. Is there a different suitable part number?

Could you describe what issue you were having before the repair? Thanks.
The rollers would not pull the wood through the planar. Particularly when it was a little cold in the garage. The rollers did not have enough grip?
@@leonardpeters3266 Thanks!

It looks to me like the Shop Fox W1877 is the same planer. It also looks like Grizzly deals them. You might try that route.

Can someone respond and tell me how to remove the pulley from the cutter head of Ridgid 13 in thickness planer? TP13300 model.
It’s reverse thread so there’s that and you have to lift the whole body up off the threaded rods to clear
