Oil Rig Fishing (Long Beach)

Went out on the boat to see how the fishing was going to be. It was a calm day and we haven't had a day like this in a long time. We did good and caught a lot of Calico Bass. Hello Johnny. I'd like more DETAILS TOO. Like, how far off shore did you have to go, & What size boat is that?
How deep is the water,, how far down are the fish? R U tossing 1/2oz jigs,,,,, & What are you using for bait? I'm panning my first trip down to the Gulf & I'm just wondering if the gear that I got, is do-able down there!? Thanks.

we are like 10 minutes from shore, its a 5 person boat, water is not to deep but all the fish are on top, 1/4 oz jigs, squid as bait, you need a heavy duty rod for the gulf look at my Mexico videos for more info and yeah thanks for watching
