I've had many Browning's and Beretta's over the years but I'm presently shooting a High Tech Classic 31.5 inch and loving it!

I've been fortunate enough to shoot a few different Perazzi shotguns over the years on our local International Skeet field. All of them were different in feel and handling. The two examples I remember most were surprising due to how poorly I got along with one and how well I got along with the other. The one I didn't care for was set up as a skeet gun and I remember it being front heavy with a full fore end and tight radius to the pistol grip. The "good" one had quite a bit of work done to it so it would be what the owner wanted. This one had 32 inch light fixed choke barrels that were then sent to a barrel shop for long forcing cones, back boring, and choke tuning. This work along with a much smaller fore end and stock gave the gun a balance and feel that made breaking clay targets a dream.

Been using 1974 MX8 SINCE 1978! about 300,000 rounds through it and only normal maintenance has been required. I have seen many other people trash many other guns long before this and Perazzi just keeps on going.

That is very good going! 150 a week for 40 years without issue is pretty amazing quality.

Some weeks four or five hundred cartridges in a week. Only normal wear and tear stuff. That you would do with any gun. Nothing catastrophic. Every perazzi is unique.

Great story. Well done narrative on Perazzi. I still think the MX8 V / wishbone trigger is the best available on any shotgun.

I have owned many guns in over 40 years of clay and field shooting and I have to say that without doubt Perazzi are the 'dogs doo dahs', I use an mx8 pro trap for DTL and ABT and an MX2000 for sporting clays and in the field and both do the job just fine.

Hi. I own a High Tech S. This is my first Perazzi and I LOVE it. I bought it new last Aug 2018 Off the shelf and it fit's me really well. My shooting have improved so much. I was at first a bit dubious with it having fixed 3/4 and full choke's, but that turned out to be no worries at all. In fact it's given me more confidence. I'd like to see you do a shooting review of the High Tech S in the near future. Great Video's all very informative and helpful. keep them coming. Malc in Stafford

I purchased a MX4C Sporter secondhand some years back after a certain big name ( and big man ) stapled his name to them. The standard stock grade was actually pretty good, plenty of figure, but the forend was totally devoid of figure and bright orange in colour!!! I could not shoot straight with it despite me sticking closely with it for a good year. I think if your in the market for a new bespoke gun then they offer very good value for money and experiences to match, however I certainly would not buy another one secondhand. Plenty happy enough now with my georgeous Beretta DT10EELL, this gun will see my time out on all my remaining clay, game and more frequently pigeon forays

I have owned 7 Perazzis...Never had a poor example...Several MX8s...One was a trap combo with 32" O/U and 34" SB...Terrific firearm...The removal trigger group was not particularly appealing except I had a pull/release for doubles... I have owned three MT6 guns and to this day the original MT6 "Flash Gordon" dubbed was my favorite...I purchased this firearm from Daniel at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal...Hence the model MT6...It was a 30" gun with factory choke tubes with a Monte Carlo buttstock...I sent the gun to Jess Briley and had it fitted out with titanium tubes with stainless steel chambers and ejectors...Jess sent it to Pro-Port and had both barrels ported for the 12 gauge for use on live pigeon...Killed many birds with this gun...My 28 gauge average was way higher than the other three gauges, so I only used the 28 gauge and the 410 tubes for American Skeet and doubles only skeet events...I loved the original first year version of this firearm with the milled stripes on the receiver...Jess Briley's tubes were far superior to the other tube makers at that time with his unique chokes...My last year of American Skeet I was very close to 100% for the 12/20/28 events using only the 28gauge tubes and a high 99% 410 average...The other two MT6s I owned did not have the same feel as the "Flash Gordon"...My biggest regret is I no longer own this firearm!...This model is often forgotten and is a gem in the rough that is a terrific bargain that would make a great competition gun if properly stocked for the events you want to shoot!

Perazzi, IMHO, makes the liveliest, sweetest shotgun in the world. I was a bit unfortunate in that my brand new MX8 bought in 2006 only went 25,000 rounds before it needed to have the action tightened. That was with light loads and never slamming the action. I believe I sort of got a lemon if you will because I know other MX8 s that have gone many more rounds than this. Still love the gun though!

I love my ❤ MX8 and my MX12. Now I would not even dream of using any other gun. MX8 is HPX DSR 33" John Jeffrey Iron work, with extended internal fixed chokes. I experimented a bit and settled on a Perazzi Monty trap stock with a bit of cast. The hand grip is Perazzi medium trap style, not too slim but not massive, but a good length to slow the gun down for long crossers etc for extra rigidity when required. The gun required no balancing and balanced just fractionally forward of the pin. This I was flabagasted at, as the Lovely wooden stock and foreend were bought separately. I did extend the pistol grip by half an inch, with buffalo horn. All wood work was supervised and completed by UK Taunton. I also acquired a grade 5 slightly raised perazzi stock for My MX12 A big thank you to George Digweed for signing my paperwork. Honest to God I hope I never have to shoot any other guns than my perazzies. Seriously I think they must have a magic section in production and mine went through twice. I also have a driven game set up for the MX8 a swept back stock grip and slim, shorter hand piece. I should give a mention to the triggers as they are sensational and break like glass, thank you John Jeffrey. For a serious clay shooter the reliability and build quality is like a Rolls-Royce.

I have a buddy who shoots a Perazzi at our local gun club. An absolutely beautifully crafted gun that shoots like a dream. It was the end of the shoot and began to rain. He quickly cursed, wrapped up his prized firearm and went straight back to the club house. I found him at the club house cleaning and greasing his gun. He told me his Perazzi was not chrome lined and will rust horrible when exposed to excessive moisture almost instantly. Is there any truth in what he said?
