Hi Lloyd, thank you for this video and for the review of the HT! I have a perazzi sc3 engraved by goldani and after watching you I decided to buy another gun, this time a perazzi HT. I have received my new HT last week and I'm very delighted with the gun.
i dont mean to be off topic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any tips you can give me!
I can tell you now I’m sold. It may take a few years but that’s it, I’ll be having one! I once worked in sales for luxury car and yacht manufacturers and am used to being on Johns side of the transaction. Great to see someone experienced with a genuine relationship with the factory leading you through the process. What great value for a lifetime memory and a lifetime gun.
Thank you lloyd for this amazing video I really enjoyed seeing you and all the guys in the factory, this experience you will never forget and I am 1000% sure that you will keep going there back again just for the enjoying being there with perazzi family. I will be in the factory in March 2020 for the High Tech S 2020 for my client. Greetings from Perazzi Kuwait
Lovely gun Lloyd! Great to see you very happy with the final result. Just a word of advice, make sure you remove every bit of plastic wad residue and leading that gets left in the bores and barrel after a session shooting. The Perazzi steel is soft and can pit overnight, they need to be vigorously cleaned after every use. Hope you enjoy your gun. Cheers
Lloyd, Great video. Could tell you were like a kid in a candy shop! Hard work pays off! I have watched quite a bit of your videos and can tell it was a long time coming till you got your own custom built gun. As I am somewhat new to sporting clays (did long distant rifle shooting till majority of the ranges closed down) I am in the process of learning about the sport and what I like and dislike. Watching your videos has been helpful in understanding differences in stocks and forearms and the pros and cons of each. I am in no rush to get a custom gun but, Im not counting it out in the future! I lived in Vicenza for 4 years with the Army and can attest to the beauty and passion of Italy and the people! Good luck with your new Perazzi and looking forward to seeing how it all works out! Chris
Congratulations on beautiful Gun. My wife surprised me yesterday with a new MX8 Vintage.. goes with my 25+ year old case hardened tiger striped MX8! Always enjoy your reviews Merry Christmas
Lloyd, I have watched this review a hundred times. Just keeps getting better and better sir. I really enjoyed the hands-on fitting and adjustments to the grip area(s) that were performed while you were at the plant. I see many of these newer models in the USA, where I live. I currently own a MX2005 for trap, that I really enjoy. Lloyd, what made you ultimately decide to go to Perazzi, and experience the true meaning of having a bespoke target gun made specially for you ?? This must be such an incredible experience in itself. I was curious what kg weight the barrels were that ended up on your gun. You look to have at least 14 and 3/4" length of pull. Just the opportunity to experience the superb food must have been super. Top notch video sir. All the best my friend. Rob G - Missouri, USA
When you review this gun can you go over why you chose a Monte Carlo stock? It would be nice to hear a pros and cons discussion about it and why you ended up choosing it.
Hello Lloyd. When you comment on that could you please also comment on the “tight radius” of the full pistol grip. Not sure I am using the correct terminology there but basically I have read in other reviews that they didn’t really like the very upright, forced hand position of the factory stock. Did you change the factory spec?
@@murraymoore5662 there isn't really such a thing as a factory spec, you ask for what you want, and they make it. I've found on a lot of the guns I tried, the grip radius was too open. I asked for mine to be quite vertical as as that's what I wanted.
I watched this Wednesday night on Patreon and have just had to watch it again on UA-cam! What an absolute stunning gun! Did you take inspiration from the 694 forend? 😉
So the RRP on the gun with standard wood is about £10.5K but this includes the made to measure service, no extra cost apart from flights, hotel and food. Flights if you book smart under £200. Perazzi room rate at the Villa Fenaroli is around 70 Euro at the time of writing. Plan to be there a couple of days. If you book with Bywell, John can just organise the whole thing from start to finish and save you the hassle. Bywell do not charge for this. The food if fab there and not expensive at all.
Great video Lloyd. Keep em coming. I can't help but think that they have a bit of an issue though. Beautifully made guns - beautiful wood - lovely lines - oh wait let's slap a tonne of logos across it in random places and ruin the aesthetics...
@@lloydyp in your shoes I would too ;) But the older guns with the lower toned logos were great. The new breed is chavvy as hell. Looks like something browning would throw out (re: Cynergy days) not an Italian bit of craftsmanship of this level.
So Lloyd, this is a lovely video. And thank you for that. But I have two questions for you. (1) can you include a link to the 'unboxing' video and pin it to this one? (2) how has BREXIT enhanced and improved this experience? OK, so a bit on a tongue in cheek articulation of that last question, but I'm interested to know if this experience has been impacted by customs and VAT with our new European circumstance
Ok, 1. the end screen of the video if you watch to the end links to the Perazzi playlist containing the video you are looking for. Or, you know, search. 2. Prices have gone up, and import delays mean that delivery is now significantly impacted for all goods from the EU. Guns doubly so as they have a lot more red tape to get through.

Black receiver does not do that gun justice. If I am spending that kind of money there better be tons of hand engraving on a nice nickel receiver. Just my opinion. That black receiver just does not look good. At all. Wood is gorgeous.
That is absolutely stunning. The lines through the stock and fore end are so complimentary and flow throughout
Can't wait to see the unboxing !!!!!!!!

Well done Sir! Awesome video and experience! Welcome to the "P" Club. I'm using MX8 Comp 1 SC3 that was made in 1974... still a stellar performer...
Thanks Tim

Great video. Your emotions really come through. Don't have the funds or the skill yet. Makes me want one. If for nothing else the build experience
We did have a laugh, it's a great experience for sure.
I'm learning all about beautiful guns, greetings to you, thank you very much.
Thank you for watching.
Great way to go Lloyd and get the ultimate shotgun 👍👍 We all enjoy your fine style of reporting on these guns 😎😎

Great story, hope you have huge success with the gun👍

Best of luck with the gun Lloyd, looks great! Was great to see a man who has seen it all like a kid over his own custom gun!!!! great vid!
Thanks Joe, I did have a blast :)
Nice one Lloyd. I cannot wait to see that stock come alive when it has finish on it. It look great dry, but I am waiting for that WOW moment!

Lloyd Pattison thank you for the explanation. Looking forward to more on that magnificent weapon.
Que hermosura de fábrica, que placer trabajar ahí. Muy bueno el video, te mando un fuerte abrazo desde Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Look forward to the initial christening of the gun.Chokes ? What is the procedure for steel proofing as seems it is looming ?
1/2 and 3/4, I am not sure re position on steel proofing. I will find out if I can.
Thanks for showing us what it would be like, since I'll probably never get to do it!
No worries, but never say never :)
This looks like one hell of a vacation!
It was.
When I saw it I want to be there taste what you do LIoyd .Nobody would shown it better and told than you .Cheers .
Thank you panda. 😉
Looks great but is that wood still to be finished and waxed etc?
Yes, that is prior to finishing.
I made a point to put a gun like this on my "too do list" however it will have to be in my next lifetime .....very nice
Thanks Joseph
very nice shotgun , wondering how does it compare to an mx2000s with the same specs?
If you want to see the finished gun. Follow @lloydyp on Instagram. He has a pic of him shooting his new baby
How do you compare the Perazzi HT to the new Kreighoff you have?
I watched this Wednesday night on Patreon and have just had to watch it again on UA-cam! What an absolute stunning gun! Did you take inspiration from the 694 forend? 😉
Nah, that is the defacto HT fore end, I just like the shape.

soon

I disagree, I like the simplicity and the lack of adornment, bold logo placement is part of the design aesthetic on a modern gun.

So....after that amazing experience, how does it shoot for you compared to the Krieghoff?
Watch the long term review. I sum it up in that video pretty much.
What choke selection did you choose for your gun?
They are fixed, are they?
Yes fixed half and 3/4.
Hey mate. I for got to ask. Any recoil loss or increase since switching to the P from the K? Cheers
If anything the P feels like it recoils less but it's subjective. I never had issues with recoil from the K either.
Perazzi "rocks"....best choice!!!
Thanks Elias
