Oiii oiii Ladies, gents and teddy bears. We hope you all enjoyed this formation. Would you like to see this formation again in 2024? Do you have ideas for what you’d like to see next season? Let us know in the comments
Oiii oiii Colin 🤙🏼 thank you so much for this. It really is, it fascinates me that AVRO went from Lancaster to Vulcan too. The whole design is mind boggling between those two and then just decades later and you have a Eurofighter Typhoon. Amazing
@@TedConingsby Totally agree Nikos. Old enough to remember the mighty Avro Vulcan's still flying, even pre Falklands conflict. We used to watch full 617 Squadron Vulcan scrambles at RAF Waddington, I wish you could go back in time, because that was something else! Please, you, Ted & the Crew stay safe out there this week my man, the weather's a tad lively still
@@colinpattison220oh wow, seeing the Vulcan scrambling must be amazing. Nikos has seen the Vulcan in displays in the late 80s and early 90s at the Weston Air Festival. That howl and vertical climb with a turn out will stay with him forever. Thank you very much and you stay safe too out there
Very special ❤. One of our TCS favourites, Blackjack with the Lancaster. Wonderful to see two iconic aircraft flying together. Magnificent displays. Flt Lt Brighty excelled again too. Super footage Ted.
Send it! Fantastic flying formation, great to see warbirds and the modern aircraft flying together. Thanks Ted and Nikos for gifting us this beautiful sight!
I just love watching these special streams the Lancaster and Blackjack just pure magic. how blackjack can stay behind the majestic Lanc is a mystery to me thanks so much Claire Bear, Nikos and Teddy hope you too had an amazing day thank you all for showing us this footage.
Just a brilliant and inspiring display. Lancaster and Typhoon in harmony. Blackjack with another captivating display with the Landing! To be beat all landings, which he then slowed down on landing to wave. What a legend. Was that James Sainty? Or Matthew Brighty either way just excellent. Looked like a beautiful day to watch the Great lady of the RAF, one Avro Lancaster no less. 70 yrs of evolution right there. Genius display. My perfect start to a Monday morning. Yes Ted, well done No:- 892 / 996
Well, i was sitting there with a big cheesy grin on my face and realised the daughter and grandkids were just sitting there looking at me smiling. Love it.
Whoever dreamed up the Lancaster and Eurofighter aerial display - it was pure genius. I just love seeing these two together, mirroring each other perfectly. Imagine the view you get from Anarchy 1.
What a spectacular sight to see the new and old together. Pilots flying them were working well with each other for a beautiful display. Ty Teddi for your channel and bringing the live streams and posts. 🥰 😊🙌👏
Love this display! Two icons of the skies. No matter how many times you see it, it's still awesome, and that landing at the end!! Looking forward to seeing what they will do for this year's display, although they are going to have to go some to top this one. As always thanks for the excellent footage you bring to us.
I love the paint job on Anarchy 1. Really striking. Coordinating that display took some work on the part of the Typhoon pilot so full praise to him on a job well done. By the angle of attack he must have been on the edge of the stall all through it.
Oii Oii thanks for your comments and the livery on Blackjack is awesome. Not at all close to stalling, the speed is similar to AAR (Air to Air Refueling) 120mph or so, so the Typhoon was comfortable
Cool video and Good footage. flew into Blackpool airport last year and when I landed my small plane, I was told to taxi and park next to the Lancaster bomber . I thought ATC was joking at first. I managed to interview the Pilot and managed get a photo of my small plane parked next to Lancaster and that Typhoon. Thanks for sharing.
When you see the advancements in aviation technology since the Lancaster was drawn on a sheet of paper, imagine being able to take a Typhoon back in time to the Lancaster pilots for a few hours. Show them the future.
Can I please ask what event this was and when? And more importantly, is this an annual event? (In hope of possibly visiting next time). This is the very best of the very best, impossible to top it! Thank you Ted and Nikos! 😊
Sadly, I haven't seen them fly together, I believe they supposed to have flown together at Cosford Airshow but sadly, PA474 went tech. She was repaired & she was the last aircraft to fly at the airshow. Also I believe they supposed to have flown at Blackpool but when I went the BBMF didn't make it (I couldn't make it to Blackpool on the Sunday)
Will there be or does anybody know ,if there will be any memorial flight or activity at the former RAF Hunsdon airfield , to mark the 80th aniversary { 18 February 1944 } of Operation Jericho ,the raid on Amiens Prison?
From your description - 120 knots which is about the same as Air-Air refuelling - that’s nowhere near accurate. They’ll be minimum of 250KIAS otherwise there’s no stall margin at all. 120KIAS is lower than the Typhoon’s approach speed!

Love to see this again. Maybe Hurricane and Typhoon next year?

Poor Typhoon looked like it was being dragged along by its nose until the break, then it gets the zoomies like a psychotic puppy.
