You mean you never fought alongside brutes in Sacred Icon? In my original copy of H2, I swear I fought alongside brutes, grunts and jackals and once managed to keep all of them alive (albeit on easy) all the way until I had to abandon them at the wall-hole across the gorge.
@@lordmartinofleithandcuddy6541 no, i still have an original copy of halo 2. No brute allies at all. Although they do have dialogue for player interaction if you are on their team. This can be accessed through modding.

Halo 2 had so much cut/unused music compared to the other games. It would make sense, otherwise that is extra wasted time/effort if they were never going to use it. Not sure the circumstances some of it would go through.

Maybe they could uncover more of the unfinished levels and modders can implement the unused music where it might have been most likely used. Honestly it'd be awesome to hear some of the unused music in game
@@anouaressanoussi It already has a page on Nexus mods so you can check that for any updates, otherwise I'm sure Vadam will announce when the mod is in a complete (read: covers all campaign missions) state.
This looks amazing. Cut Content is always fascinating to me and to get to actually play through the game as if the content was always there is super exciting. I played one of the earlier versions of this and I loved what I played, so I can’t wait for the next release.
Wow, riding in the turret of a Shadow. The only time I’ve ever done that was in the Metropolis tunnels and even then there wasn’t a friendly NPC to drive it, but imagine if the Arbiter could actually drop off troops with it. It’d be like a Warthog Razorback but for the Covenant

From one month later (spoilers?): played v0.8 on legendary up til Uprising. Has been amazing, almost seamless and very funny at times. Cairo Station was cool, a good intro to the new weapons. Outskirts has this insane encounter where you usually get the warthog and then you can do the normally unplayable (on legendary) beach in a wraith. Metropolis was ridiculous especially in the part with the two wraiths but still heaps of fun. Arbiter introduces you to the carbine which is disgusting on legendary when used against you. The sentinels are also psychos. Oracle is really fun because Shipmaster comes along and takes all the damage for you. The Heretic leader forgot how to shoot which really helped me. Delta Halo is incredible, the true highlight of the mod for me. Regret has ADDED sniper jackals and the most batshit ending. Sacred Icon is absolute HELL on legendary but worth the challenge (I recommend speedrunning coz the flood with SMG piss on you). Quarantine Zone is somehow WORSE but I got very lucky stealing the tank in the first part so it was doable. The end gondola is very very cursed. Gravemind is easy if you give all the marines carbines it’s a joke. There’s like 20 extra brutes in the last fight, why? Am looking forward to Uprising and the last 2 missions when they’re ready!

I know restoring cut content is easier then building new stuff based on old ideas, but what would be the likely hood of seeing the original original Halo 2 plan in reality? Can you even change cutscenes with mod tools? Thanks! Love what youve done so far!
