I think this is the first time I've seen a Paratha cooked with oil instead of ghee, would be interesting to eat one of each, side by side, to see which I prefer.
The lady explained everything brilliantly! But I don't understand one thing, the last three paratha she cut them into strips and then rolled them up what's the purpose of this? After she rolled it up again, squashed it and rolled it the strips would have disappeared?
briyan36 she cut them them and before rolling it up she put little oil on it, though it appears that the strip disappeared, once it cooks on the pan the oil inside will cook all layers and make it a flaky/fluffy paratha.
