With my bass fishing slowing down considerably now that the days are getting shorter, I thought I'd share some tips to help accelerate your journey to having more success catching bass on a fly rod on the UK coast.
Fly fishing for bass in the UK presents an interesting and rewarding challenge for any angler willing to put in the hours and groundwork. Bass are a stunning fish and larger specimens really are something to behold. Catching your first bass can be a struggle which is definitely a good way to describe my experience. Starting out with little knowledge of sea fishing, I had to be committed and consistent to achieve my goals and ultimately, with all the research and advice you can get, time on the water will be the biggest contributor to your success. your flies seems very good. I capture today first seabass on fly.
Really good luck, practically fist time I go fishing on fly and one fish. Was really a baby, on top water at the beginning of sea river entry.
Very fun, and fly casting is really addictive also
