    Bodybuilding and guitars!!! Two of my favorite subjects. Now all you need is some woodworking videos

    I own it, but you covered a lot of things I didn’t even know were possible. That global eq flat setting got some criticism when they were first reviewed. It made a big difference. Overall, it’s a great sounding amp, and could be perfect once you learn how to tweak all the settings. This video certainly helps with that, so THANK YOU!

    Thank you. This was informative and useful. Liked your wry sense of humour too. I liked the concentration on tailoring the sound.

    The mustang user manual actually tells exactly which amp is being emulated be it a fender, Marshall, Mesa boogie, etc. Same thing for the stomp boxes, other effects and cabinets.

    you answered a hell off alot more than evev fender itself did. ive had mine for about a week now have had yet to play a single song. im pissed. maybe you could do one with the tone app and also the "i dont have a clue foot switch". but am seriously concidering sending the damn thing back. but because you took the time ill give it another go.

      Thanks for watching and commenting, and I"m glad I could help a little bit! Sorry you're having such difficulty with the darned thing. (The first "modern" amplifier I got back in 1983 is primitive compared anything now, but even then with the pre-gain & post-gain & this & that & the other, I was puzzled and frustrated. A friend of mine at the time, watching me fight with that amplifier, said, "I want a knob that's just labeled 'This Makes It Louder.'" True that!) I'd be happy to make another video, but I swapped mine out for a Blackstar Silverline Deluxe 100. It's not because the Mustang is a bad amplifier, but rather--and I know this sounds silly--but the Mustang has so many options that I found myself paralyzed trying to decide what sound to use even just dinking around in my dining room. You might check out the channel of Guitar Max: Max is a great guy and did (IIRC) a pretty informative video about the Mustang a couple years ago. Let us know how things go!

      @@MetalProfessor65 you know you are correct. the amount of choices is just too overwlming. 3 week ive had and still yet to play a single song one. i need it simple all my amps from the past were usually simple or not very good at all. many years with no amp at all. i learned seek and destroy with no amp. a shitty hondo and no strereo. just memory. i was very accurate less but a couple notes. sorry gotside tracked.i dont even need a big amp. im sure ill never jam with anyone again nor the less play out. nobody plays anything up here. and yet theres a music school 20 miles from my house. to the point any suggestions or thoughts of what be a good amp for$500 or less. with no brick and mortars anywhere theres no place to try before buy. thanks in advance. i will be checking your channel because im building my body as well. at 62yr im not going down without a fight

      @@user-qk5rv2eq6l Sir, thank you for sharing! The channel nowadays is mostly focused on all-female heavy metal, but I'm still doing the occasional bodybuilding or guitar segment. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, and you're correct: we shouldn't go down without a fight! 🤟

    I can get my mustang 100 to sound just like my ac15 that is modded.. it takes some tweaking but its missing that 3d open full sound that you get with a tube amp...

    • @MetalProfessor65
      @MetalProfessor65  10 місяців тому

      That full sound is *such* a difficult beast to find on a solid state amp! Thanks for watching and commenting!

      @MetalProfessor65  2 роки тому +1

      I don't know. I would imagine so, although I couldn't sweat to the fidelity of the cloning. This thing (the Mustang GTX 100) has a LOT of amp sims in it!

    How many effect can we add to the signal chain ?

    • @MetalProfessor65
      @MetalProfessor65  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for asking! That depends on what effects you're using: some allow for more to be added after them, and some don't. I can't provide an exact number, but, speaking generally, you can add quite a few both pre- and post-signal.
