What a brave and inspiring risk taker! That scheduled ride concept is such out of the box thinking for an app that gives rides. Such courage to step into a job that pays $78,000,000 your first year. No wonder people thought he was crazy. Seriously, I could go on all day about how he underpays his drivers, but just fixing their horrible maps would be a needed improvement.

Rideshare is way to expensive now. Lyft is strong in Bad areas and thats why you dont want to drive for Lyft because of a risk to your life.

Lyft/Uber should only be charging fees like other "technology" companies like stubhub or ticketmaster. Taking more than 50% of customer payments is theft.
They should make the responsibility of obtaining commercial insurance the responsibility of the drivers or make an option to opt out and buy on their own.
Here in Texas they are required by State Law to maintain $1,000,000 Insurance Coverage .
lets break down todays only fare from lyft. as the rider started asking me what I get paid from the trip (i love when a rider asks me, thats when i just rattle away all the dirty things going on.
ok david risher says I take home 70 percent of the fare. rider payment price, 51$ . my earnings 25$ , and that was during their "earn 20 percent more hour) what a joke. david risher was probally a high school drop out and he definitly failed math course. time to go back to math class david risher

Pax told me a ride from logan to their home was priced at 81$. The same route pays a driver 21. Thats 4/1 sandbag.

I was deactivated today by Uber because I took a day or 2 away from driving. I was asked to ID myself and there was no reason. Earlier today Lyft offered a $3 dollar ride I sent Lyft a help message to not be disrespectful then they sent the impenetrable request to send in documents to ride in my neighboring state. I declined and then Lyft banned me

yesterday, uber charge my passenger $37 for 18min ride and I got paid $16. But my passenger gave me a big tip so she made my day. Thx for nice passenger.
Both companies owe me money and the wage claims that were filed back in 2020 we may see by the end of the year since the California Supreme Court is leading towards invalidating prop 22. Hopefully the companies will have to pay us interest on our wage claims for all the stalling.

Honestly lyft isn’t as big as Uber because their promotion sucks, Uber is ALWAYS promoting and moving into different avenues like food delivery, so they’re doing rideshare, food delivery and they are in almost every country world wide so why won’t people see them as their first option. I even saw a guy in show I watch wearing an Uber shirt, lyft doesn’t do any of those things so you start to become the second option to everyone. If they fix how they promote they’ll fix 95% of their problems….oh and they should bring back their driver hubs and make their customer service number more assessable
Risher owes me money in court it’s on and I should have file for more.
If I was the CEO, I would implement an optional monthly fee for drivers. Something like $300/month to drive on the platform. And increase driver pay to 90%. (Maybe offer this to the best/loyal drivers)

Riders have no compelling reason to choose Lyft over Uber. They are the same. Lyft needs to come up with a meaningful difference.

A reason should be that Lyft is abusive with their drivers and they dont pay sometimes, if they just dont feel like it, and they dont pay as much as Uber.. , not saying Uber pays enough, it clearly doesnt but Lyft pays less..
Lets be realistic, Drivers have been getting screwed from the beginning since drivers are not paid from the time you accept the ride to the time you get the customer in the car. Drivers are not compensated for miles that they put on their cars. Drivers should have to pay Uber Lyft a weekly or monthly fee for the use their services..These Rideshare companies should not be setting the fares and calling drivers independent contractors because that is illegal. Drivers should have the right to set and negotiate their own fares and keep all the money. Because they pay taxes and the overhead.
Uber and Lyft are not AMAZON. IS NOT EVEN THE SAME BUSINESS MODEL
LYFT's tech is amateur garbage compared to UBER's state of the art status.
