Dear Kristina and John. I'm following quite a few of your peers but have to say, your episodes are the ones I'm really looking forward to. Your bubbling approach towards adventures, challenges and life is adorable. Don't ever change!
Thank you Conny ❤️ That’s really so nice of you to say. 🥰 We have such a wonderful time out on the water, exploring, learning and experiencing new places, so I’m extremely grateful to be able to share the journey with you to enjoy with us. 🥰 Each episode takes me 3+ days to edit. This episode had more than 1000 items on the timeline 😮 So your comment doesn’t go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated ❤️ Love Kristina x
@@KristinasTravels I appreciate the time to edit. It takes me a week to put a movie together from a week in the Alps. 2 hours of film and 30 pics down to 15 minutes... 🤣. And the result is nowhere near what you guys produce.
In 1979 I did a backpack trip around the south pacific and spent a week on Magnetic island good memories of that place. I can tell you that in 1979 I was a pretty rare as an American wandering around OZ I was a good five to ten years ahead of the rest of the bloody yanks. I lived and worked in Sydney from 2010 until 2016 and really miss down under thanks for showing me around. Hope to get down this July or August for a visit.
This is the perfect video, you’ve shown a rough sea day, a blocked toilet, a smoke alarm going off, but yet you’ve also showed how you can dress up and visit a beautiful island and look good while doing it. You two have a pretty cool life.
Kristina it is my firm belief every person on board learns every job One day your life of you both could depend on it!! As for a stern anchor when I've had to use one I used polypropylene rope as it floats, I drop the stern anchor where I want it and the motor over to where i want the main anchor. As I pay out chain for the main I pull in the line for the stern. Once you've set the main you can winch on the stern line to set. Pay attention to both at the same time to avoid your prop getting tangled.
Cheers Peter. So nice to hear from you. Your kind words mean a lot. Thank you so very much for the love! Keep us posted on your thoughts through season 2 🤟🥰
Another fantastic video. I saw the post about how many edits made up the episode- amazing! I am in the US, and every time I watch a video I yearn to get to Australia to visit sooner, rather than later. I will say this for John, he has appeared to gotten more comfortable with being filmed. BTW John, thank you for lugging all that equipment for the shots of the koala, this “ungrateful son“ appreciated the shots you got of them!! Looking forward to season 2!
Cheers Larry! Thanks for being here. Your kind words and comment made me smile and feel very blessed for your support. I hope you enjoy this next season and adventure 🤟
I watch many sailing channels, but this is the one that I can’t wait to watch! Maybe it’s that “heavy bag” of John’s camera equipment, but the places you go and the things you video are just perfection to me! Thank you!

You two are hilarious together love it oh and Spanish Mackerel is pretty tasty fish and also those stars in the sky if that's what you get to see at night, how beautiful enjoy your trip I love watching the episodes cheers
You two are pretty cute together. For sailors will little sailing experience you seem to be doing quite well. Your eye for adventure and beauty are spot on. Luckily you have learned the secret to always putting out a successful sailing adventure video...Add adorable Koala bears. Stay groovy and stay safe.
Hey guys great to get another video & learn of your future plans. Great to see Magnetic Island & the remote beach which you had to yourself. Great photography I would like to add & positive sailing in over night passage, man you guys have certainly come a long way since you began. Keep pumping out the good stuff & best of wishes to you both. Cheers
You guys should think of putting a davit system on the back of your boat to hold your dingy and I've seen alot of people add a couple of solar panels on top of it to help keep your batteries topped up , I know it all costs money but it would free up your bow so you could grab a couple beanbag chairs to have a couple sundowners up there.
Oh my Nauticals, I just so happened to hit Like, and decided to Subscribe right before John told us viewers to do just that, or else he wouldn't pull out his big one again! Plus that "Big Nugs", made me laugh so much, I have never heard that phase before, I've gotta find a way to use that in a sentence somehow. And funny enough, where I am, we just got out of Long Johns wearing season and I hope to get my boat and sail off to where I don't need to wear those again. Also, your videos will be my reference to what to explore when I make my way to Straya. Thank you.

I remember my wife plugging the toilet on a cruise ship and in desperation and embarrassment kept attempting to flush until we had standing water and unpleasantness sloshing around on the floor. I took one for the team that day when maintenance arrived. With hands on hips I explained how my manliness had stopped up the toilet and how I foolishly kept flushing " wink at wife"
