My wife's friend was having some kind of pain and my wife drove him to the ER. A con was in town. While they were waiting, in comes Robert Picardo. My wife is a pretty big Trekkie, so she recognized him immediately. My wife is also very polite and would never have accosted him in such a place, but she also has *zero* poker face, so the moment she saw him, she turned to her friend and giggled "Please state the nature of the medical emergency!" She was trying to whisper, but was too excited and also laughing at her own joke, so it came out much too loud.
Picardo apparently heard her, because he went up to the desk and asked if there was somewhere he could wait in private. My wife was mortified.

Rich and Mike had the wrong answer at 19:12 ("What was the last episode of the original series that aired?"). It was actually The Cage, Star Trek's first pilot which wasn't aired until 1986.

that we're so through the looking glass now compared to a few decades ago, that you can actually be mocked for NOT knowing all the star trucks.
I went to Star Trek themed bar trivia once and I actually went home with a prize of two trivia books because I got the worst score out of everyone. I say this as someone who has seen all the series but Discovery twice. They don't play on easy mode.
