Thank you very much, Ethan! Glad that you enjoyed this video and hopefully you enjoyed the Superfecta as well. Hah. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Thanks for posting this! I'm new to Delco and I've been looking for a place to take my boys fishing. Can you let me know where you were located in this video? Did you park in one of the Route 420 lots? Thanks!!
Nice catches. i was confused when you said R.I.P neil as well. I've caught catfish off of corn but never bass. Great video and glad to see he was able to catch one.
A little question here. Have you ever caught walking catfishes (genus Clarias, particularly Clarias gariepinus and C. batrachus) in the wild? I'm curious, since both of them are somewhat similar to snakeheads (hardy fishes able to tolerate wide variety of habitats) and are fairly popular aquaculture fishes. The 'walking' part is also well-justified as they can (and do sometimes) travel overland. That said, hope you land a snakehead soon. When I was a wee lad, I was taught to target fry balls for a sure snakehead hit so you probably should do that if you know when their spawning season began. The fries on that stage are usually yellow to deep red and hung around in surface schools.
I have never caught a Walking Catfish (_Clarias batrachus_) yet, Lakhshamana; however, I have heard that they are in good numbers down in Florida! Who knows...maybe in the future. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
I live in southwest Philly and has always wanted to go fishing, where do I go to find out what I can catch, how much of what I can catch and what I have to throw back?
Yo Leo! I caught a snakehead in this spot yesterday afternoon. Texas rig powerworm in dark purple/pink, cast around the edges of the lily pads in the lagoon. Tight lines!
Hey Leo, I'm in Fort Lauderdale at the moment and I'm desperate for somewhere to fish on the intracoastal. Do you know of any spots like the one you fished?? thanks, appreciate it
Sorry for the late reply, Josh. I just got back from OBX in North Carolina! If you are the kid who sent me photos on Instagram, then I know that you caught some fish at least. Hah. Hope you did well down there! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Love the videos. I go here a lot. Not to be a buzzkill, but ALL living things here are protected. I dug up worms there one day and park ranger asked me where I got them. I told him there. He was really cool about it, but asked that I not do it again because technically he could write me a ticket.
He is not dead, Josh. The dates at the end don't match with his age. Those dates were the dates of his stay in PA. I simply meant to imply that he has moved away from here. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
It is as Ant Mats says, Nicholas. Due to my lack of availability nowadays, I do UA-cam collaborations via Patreon with 1 month scheduling ahead of time. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Thank you very much, Ant Mats! I am glad that you liked the video. And sorry for your skunk. You should definitely go down there again and attempt it one more time! :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
That is awesome, boopeydoopey! A+ fan right here for sure. Hah. I am glad that you enjoy the contents here on the Channel! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
The Johnson is turning out to be a godly lure for freshwater, The Fishing Experiment! I just got 10 more in my mail. Good investment for sure. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
I am not going to lie, Michigan Fishing -- my time has been pretty limited recently. Hah. As you can see, I am replying to your comment only 3 weeks after you posted it. So yeah...it has been busy. Hah. I don't think I will be playing Fishing Planet for a while now. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
I appreciate the suggestion, Bryar; however, I just reinspected that fish and it was definitely a Green Sunfish (_Lepomis cyanellus_). You can see that by the blue marks on its operculum and the yellow coloration on its soft dorsal, anal, and caudal fins. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
That is a good hypothesis, Mason. I am not sure if bigger Bass will eat Common Carp (_Cyprinus carpio_) eggs; however, I wouldn't say that the opposite doesn't happen! Thanks for sharing! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Sadly, that is the size range of Largemouth Bass (_Micropterus salmoides_) that I catch here in PA. This will change in the future, though. So, stay tuned, Axil! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Unfortunately, due to my lack of availability nowadays, I am only doing collaborations via Patreon, Jake. And it is usually with 1 month of scheduling in advance. Hope you understand! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
I am not dead lol just enjoying this southern weather!!
that scared me for a second
I knew he wasn't dead because it said 2000-2016 and he's like 24
Come back one of these days for some more PA adventures, Neil! :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Would this be one of the places where it is not suggested to harvest fish?
Great video like always Leo! Looking forward to the sunfish superfecta video!
Thanks!!
Yes. We parked on one of the Route 420 lots. And both sides of it are fishable. This day, we hit the east side. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
how far in is this on the east side?
Nice catches. i was confused when you said R.I.P neil as well. I've caught catfish off of corn but never bass. Great video and glad to see he was able to catch one.
Hah. Neil is definitely alive and doing well in South Carolina, J. Glad that you enjoyed the video! Tight lines and thanks for watching!

there are those in the everglades so idk if they go that up north :P
Mm, I figured the fishes would prefer warmer waters down south but if they broke into the Mississippi river system they could conceivably push north.
I have never caught a Walking Catfish (_Clarias batrachus_) yet, Lakhshamana; however, I have heard that they are in good numbers down in Florida! Who knows...maybe in the future. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!

I am not going to lie, Michigan Fishing -- my time has been pretty limited recently. Hah. As you can see, I am replying to your comment only 3 weeks after you posted it. So yeah...it has been busy.
The bass probably thought it was a carp egg
That is a good hypothesis, Mason. I am not sure if bigger Bass will eat Common Carp (_Cyprinus carpio_) eggs; however, I wouldn't say that the opposite doesn't happen! Thanks for sharing! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
uses bluegill as cut bait "yea cause im a savage"
I tend to use different types of Sunfish as cutbait all the time, Ferdinan. They work great for the Catfish! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
You're first bass was the same size as your second bass 😂😂 just kidding
Sadly, that is the size range of Largemouth Bass (_Micropterus salmoides_) that I catch here in PA. This will change in the future, though. So, stay tuned, Axil! Tight lines and thanks for watching!

It was RIP for him moving down to South Carolina, Colton. He is still alive and well. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
