I took my children here about 10 years ago. We loved exploring all the old buses inside the museum, and got a lovely summers day ride on an open top bus around St Helens. Thanks for sharing xD
I'm 69 years old and it's a great joy to follow your videos; I've seen many things from my youth, haha. Keep up the good work, young man. Greetings from Denmark 🤓
I hadn't been on a bus for years but when I lived in Shanghai I started to used them quite frequently, very reliable and very cheap but horrendously crowded but one can travel anywhere in Shanghai by bus for 20p. When I came back to the UK I started to used buses to and fro to town and to travel to pick up my cars when they gar serviced and I find using a bus now very easy and eliminates the need for expensive parking. I have also started to use our local Metro trains at times. Buses now are so vastly different from when I was a kid when I used to travel to and from school by bus. In Shanghai they use a lot of electric buses and hydrogen powered buses. Another unusual and interesting video Harley. My son by the way has just bought a Harley Davidson motorbike and the mandatory leather jacket wit the word "Harley" emblazoned on the back .

That was brilliant Harley. I was born in 1955 so well remember these Buses, but mostly RTs and then the Routemaster Bus. The sound of them is fantastic and they always seemed cosy and warm. Was that Titan pre select ? A great experience for you - thanks for taking us along on your adventure. Take care 🙂
Sliding doors ? Luxury ! The Titans in Dublin in the 50s, and 60s were all of the “open back” ones. That front window was straight across and there was a sliding glass behind the driver if he and the conductor needed to pow-wow. No smoking signs (in English and Irish), and may just have been No Spitting notices as well !! Can’t remember clearly. They were the bulk of the fleet, from 30s to the 70s … with a few Tigers, I think. Before the Atlanteans completely replaced them. Thanks Harley - as always - love that you let the vehicles speak for themselves ! Great sounds !
Hi 👋 Harley. I had a British friend Keith when i was at high school many years ago now. And his family immigrated from London Britain to Auckland New Zealand where i lived. I was asked to look after him when he started at my school. He would talk about the London Double Decker buses. His father got a job at Auckland International Airport here , because he had worked at Heathrow International Airport in London. He worked in the control tower. Keith and i remained friends for many years , but we drifted apart. Thanks for that bus trip Harley. How much was the bus fare ?

Thanks, will do!
That takes me back, i haven't been on a bus since they were still in service! Good one Harley. 👍😄

Interesting story and a great jacket!
Can almost smell the mix of diesel fumes and stale cigarette smoke! Great memories of traveling around Teesside on the United Buses.
haven't been on a double decker since the late 1960s
Seeing a double decker bus reminds me of being in Sydney when I was 8 years old.I believe there is one on Norfolk Island.

Now that's the way to travel! But no clippie! Lovely to hear that big old torquey diesel slogging away at such low revs.

Thanks for watching, I think this was quite a late titan which explains the sliding doors at the front
You're right, what a great sound. But how's the workout the driver was getting? No power steering on these behemoths!!
Haha no!

Thanks for watching, the bus ride is free!
Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 Harley , what do you want Santa 🤶 to bring you for xmas this year ? A car ? From Carl in NZ.
You 😉
An insured Jaguar XKSS would be nice... ;)
Sorry Harley , i read the ending where you said the bus ride is free. 😅 Silly me for asking you how much was the fare.
Great!
Just one thing, could you not call it vintage!
In 1965 I was only a little younger than you!
