Recap of my recent vacation in Banner Elk, North Carolina! Banner Elk is a popular getaway near Boone in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the North Carolina High Country. It’s a place that blends small town relaxation with the amenities of a larger city.
Here are some of the attractions shown in the video:
- Grandfather Mountain: Mile High Swinging Bridge & Wildlife Habitat
- Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster: The coaster has a 3,160 foot long track that reaches up to 27 mph at the control of the rider. There is also a rope’s course here.
- Downtown Banner Elk: We dined at Sorrento’s (Italian), Banner Elk Cafe (Italian + American) and Stonewalls (delicious steak & seafood)
