I'd recommend upgrading the master cylinder to a e34 525i or e36 m3 version as the increase in piston size from the e46 330i caliper will result in an extended pedal travel. Ask me how I know 😂
This is interesting because I have not seen this being discussed on forums. Does E34 525i master cylinder install plug and play onto E36 325i? Just master cylinder but no change on brake booster servo?
@@mengsuan you'd also need a e36 m3 brake booster/ servo from a 3.2. Pretty much plug and play with that. Existing servo won't work as the master cylinder is slightly longer at the clevis end from memory. Brake pedal will be nice and firm with no extended travel with it.
