    I ordered one and it came yesterday, used it today after work and it's great!! been using a glass microwave popcorn popper I got from Walmart, doesn't make enough and always un popped kernels. not so with this. I have the smallest lowest wattage Microwave out there and it fits and after two and a half minutes, I had a small mixing bowl instead of a cereal bowl with my other popper, of popcorn and all kernels popped!

    Do you suggest using butter in with the kernels first?

    • @inthekitchenwithmatt
      @inthekitchenwithmatt  Рік тому

      No, you aren't supposed to use any oil or butter with the kernels. Per the manufacturers instructions. So the butter should go on after the kernels are popped

  • @maryallen1017
    @maryallen1017 3 роки тому +6

    Just to let everone know I bought one of these and it came with an instruction pamphlet, one of the instructions for the Salbree Popcorn Popper says,
    Add 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels, or fill to the bottom line in your popcorn popper. We do not recommend adding oil, butter or any seassoning prior to cooking. Doing so may cause damage to your popcorn popper and/or result in a fire.
    I add my toppings of choice afterwards.
    This item makes a great bowl of popcorn. Love It!

    • @inthekitchenwithmatt
      @inthekitchenwithmatt  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, you don't add oil to it, you add only kernels like I showed in the video. :) I also talked about the lines in the video too.

    • @DanielHerd
      @DanielHerd 11 днів тому

      Why would you not add oil? Every microwave bag has oil in it. Oil isn't the problem unless this doesn't really work to pop corn. There's something really messed up with the device if you can't use it like every other microwave popcorn bag you buy.

    • @inthekitchenwithmatt
      @inthekitchenwithmatt  4 роки тому

      You can easily eat it right out of that bowl, you just need to let it cool for a little bit first. Either way, if you have a traditional popper you still have the popper and a bowl, so it really isn't anything different. But like I said, you don't need another bowl you can eat right out of that one if you like.
