- I tried this Salbree microwave popcorn popper from Amazon after it was targeted to me in an ad. I was so curious if this gadget worked well for making popcorn in the microwave. Check out my experiment where I compare stove popped popcorn with this silicone microwave popcorn popper. Was it worth it?!

I bought one from Amazon and it was only $8.99 I was surprised that it was that cheap, and I checked out Amazon for popcorn....ummmmm no way too expensive, so I got the great value Walmart popcorn for a 3rd of the price, I was amazed how well it tasted and worked no kernels as you said. The one I bought had no name on it but said Mcomca popcorn popper ...looks exactly the same as the one with the name on it. Glad you did the tutorial because mine came with no instructions!!
Wow, you got a great deal on your popper! How much is the popcorn at Walmart? I got 8 pounds from Amazon for $11.49 but now I'm wondering if I can find it cheaper! I love this little gadget so much. We use it several times a week now.
@@CookwithKerry oh looks like you got a good buy on popcorn, because you bought in bulk...I think I paid like $1.66 for 2 lbs... It's only me so I buy a bit smaller... 😂...I am a price watcher on Amazon and anywhere else I buy.. 😂
This is my favorite way to make popcorn. I also give these away as gifts. I do use oil in mine. I put 2 Tbsps. of Coconut oil and 1/2 Tsp. of popcorn salt (Flavacol brand) in the bottom and heat on high for two minutes. Now I put 50mg. (about 1/4 cup) in the oil and heat on high for 2min. 20 seconds (or until the popping almost stops). I dress with 2 Tbsps. of melted butter. Movie quality popcorn.
