The pastor claiming that the epidemic of homeless veterans is due to them receiving too much mental health treatment is absolutely insane lol.
yeah that specifically is a wild take 😵💫
It's honestly laughable. Absolutely hysterical... Because the truth is exactly the opposite.
Thank you for this interview. I’ve definitely found myself on the pendulum swing from fundamentalist to diagnosing every area of my life in order to find clarity. It’s good to hear a balanced perspective.
The best thing you can do for grief is cry. This is important.
I watched The Office again for the first time in years since learning all this stuff exists. It sucks because I have trouble finding it funny because I get hung up on Michael Scott’s narcissism. lol
I like the way the wildlife channels do trigger warnings:

I think this fellow is correct. These discussions need nuance and the negative reaction of (some) people to him, shows just how silly some folk can get. He's not denying trauma. He's saying that hurt is (often) due to many factors and may have little to nothing to do with trauma. OTOH, it may be mostly due to trauma. People being black and white in their thinking is damaging and harmful.
A much needed conversation.
