Love the ambient music you use. I dont see this as the 'end' of narrowboats for you guys. Its the end 'for now'. Who knows what the future holds. Just go with it. At this moment in time William comes 1st. When William is settled at School who knows what you chose to do next but you need a permanent place to live at moment so William can get used to having to go to school. For me you are making excellent decisions & wish you continued success & happiness

When you was cleaning the deck and you could hear the ducks over the music, it sounded really good and set the atmosphere.Also you all seem at lot happier when on Zero, the house seems a big headache.

It was bittersweet seeing Zero devoid of all of the belongings that make her a ‘home’, but seeing William in his ‘bedroom’ really drove home why she’s not a good fit for the next stage of your life. I don't think you made it very clear in the vlog/or mention the fact that your were letting out Holly for the weekend unless I missed it ? Somehow that didn't get explained? A bit confusing ? Are the couple on Holly friends of yours? Have you considered selling sandwiches/rolls etc as well as the cakes ? That one you had Jo looked good ! Made me hungry lol. Zero looks great! Take photos of Zero with snow over the top, you'd sell it to me straight away. We loved the narrowboats when we were in Kidderminster.( 2012) hubbys home town). Looking forward to return and do a narrowboat holiday with family. I think William remembers more than you know. It made me feel sad seeing someone else serving cake on Holly. 😢 im such a slipper. Hi Vic, in the Apollo ad for Zero you could do with a couple of pictures of the engine and engine bay. It's a beautiful boat and so reasonably priced and a good size too. I wish you, Jo and the little man nothing but joy going forward.

Hoping it’s just the family boat to sell, as I read the last blog, and planning cafe days for 2024, they hope to tour Europe, so may be friends, are helping out in the gaps, we’re hoping
Great seeing the cafe being temporarily used by friends. Sounds like a great idea ie sharing Holly's facilities for others to run a cafe from. You could have a 'rotating' cafe, where different venders hire her when you aren't using her. Sounds exciting. As a customer it would be an adventure to see who is serving you today. Sad to see Zero go because it is an end of a chapter and an adventure. Life is full of those. I like how you could see that it wasn't working for you made the choice to move on. You didn't become intrenched in a past decision. Yes it is very unplanned and slightly risky, but also in some ways I think it suits who you two are.
So happy your not bogging off. Love you two, whilst you've been away I have been following some of my other favourites. One of which is Angelina Jordan, a lovely singer. This lead me on to another singer called Lucy Thomas. Now correct me if i'm wrong but I found the resemblance of Joe and this singer very close, especially the eyes. We came to see you on the Bollington Dock, but bad timing on our part. The lady in the little paint shed relayed that you may only be around early March. We live in North Carolina but are staying at my sis's house in Standish, near Wigan. So, no cake and coffee this time around. Have you heard of Hopwood Hall/Hopwood DePree? Perhaps we'll catch you both next time. ❤
I would hope Holly the Cafe Boat is just being run by friends for the short-mid term whilst William grows up more. It’s bitter sweet that you need to make hard decisions, but costs/outgoings must balance with income & your new family outlook for the future. I hope you will continue on the boats, maybe next stop - a Widebeam Restaurant or even a Dutch Barge 👍 Good luck to All ❤

I think you may have misunderstood. They're selling their live aboard boat "Zero" but just loaned out Holly for the weekend to friends. It's not been sold. They've already got plans to run their Cafe business from Holly in 2024.
