"Distinct flavor that doesn't appeal to all tastes" just means that only certain people would like it. I think Clauncher claws are indeed delicious to Galarians, but are considered an acquired taste like durian or blue cheese.
My thoughts exactly. For another example, caviar is a delicacy, but most people who try it aren't thrilled by the taste or texture.
ever since playing emerald I've wanted to eat tropius' bananas
I don't even like bananas, but I just wanna pick one

I love how Gator is dissapointed he cant eat Polchageist but is happy he can drink Polteageist😂
As a tea lover, I find it interesting that it's a Ghost-type thing in the Pokémon world. I'd also go for some Bounsweet syrup, mangosteens are incredibly delicious.
What do mangosteens taste like?
I love seafood, so I wouldn't mind eating a good percentage of the mons discussed here. There's also white stripe Basculin, which if I'm not mistaken is based on a salmon unlike its red and blue cousins, although you'd risk being attacked by a vengeful Basculegion after eating one.
Since they Introduced the Mechanic of Pokemon Dropping Items that are part of their bodies I guess some of their Dropped parts could be Used to make meals
Regular animals are also implied to exist as I remember seeing tiny Butterflys near Bushes in Paldea they definitely weren't Pokemon
I'd like to note that for Crabrawler's entry you read that "it's popular in Paldea" instead of Paella. Paella is a type of Spanish cuisine characterised by its use of seafood and vegetables.
Considering that Paldea is based on Spain/Portugal, it would make sense for Crabrawler to be popular in Paldea as well. Though it could be exclusive to Alolan paella. Idk.
I love the food lore in the games recently
i hope they add more food lore in the future.
Good thing Gator talked about Polteageist. Can't wait to see it's debut in the anime.
What is the name of the Background music?
Edit: I found out that it's Arven's theme.

“Paella” (Meant to be Paldea)
Paella indeed
A tasty dish indeed.
I wonder if you can eat the wyrm in Dipplin 🧐
Pure protein
It's a worm.
@NintendoSegaGuys no it is a wyrm (dragon) it’s why applin and it’s line are dragon type
@@hh9811 Yes, I know. And it's body is in the shape of a *worm* that digs into fruit. I don't think it would tase very well.
@@hh9811 Oh wait you were making a pun, my b.
I still going to eat the bananas from tropius, make it into the best crape filling with some sweet berries and whipped cream.
Man I can’t wait to get my hands on some Terapagos Soup
And that will created Pokemon world version of PETA 😂😂😂
Happy thanksgiving
Yummy eevee💀
Wouldn’t mind eating Dippin a candy Apple Pokémon.
*Lillie get her sweat bouncsweet tea cup* I like my Polteageist. I am not scared. Especially with bit of a mallow sweater to improve.
What is the best Pokemon to eat for Thanksgiving then?
3:51 That does not say Paldea, sir. It says paella. It's a rice-based dish.
Ok the clauncher is actually fine it says its really good in galar not paldea
