  • President Biden has blamed Russia’s leader Vladimir Putin for the death of the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in a Siberian prison. “Make no mistake, Putin is responsible for Navalny’s death,” Biden said in a speech at the White House.
He said the United States did not know exactly what had happened to Navalny, but that “there is no doubt" that his death "was the consequence of something that Putin and his thugs did.”
Navalny was Russia's most significant opposition leader for the past decade.
President Vladimir Putin's most outspoken critic within Russia was serving 19 years on extremism charges that were widely seen as politically motivated.
His wife Yulia has appealed to the international community "to help punish this regime".

A sad day. A man that actually could have helped his country instead of the crooks a gangsters currently in power. Navalny will be remembered long after putrid is gone.

I cannot say that I'm surprised, I knew this would happen as soon as I saw that he returned to Russia.

Throughout the world history, often than not, a brave, outspoken patriot who truly cared for their country and was not afraid to speak the truth against the dictatorship were tossed into a prison or killed. What a shame.

Can anyone tell me on what charges Julian Assange has been under arrest for years in the UK? Can you also tell me what Assange risks if he were extradited to the USA?

  • @jsurinderveygal561

My deepest condolences to his family.
