This is soooo weird , you just uploaded the video 20 seconds ago and you already saved my life , OMG Im about to start a new job that really focuses on uv unwrapping models for inflatable structures (balloons) and I went to youtube to learn how, Thankks a lot 😍😍
Great tutorial for beginners! I guess the UV theme is interesting for many peoples, especially how to work with different sized island or make two different UV's for 1 model.
MAXON urgently needs to bring the 3dsMax smart extrude to Cinema 4D! And improve snapping as it's done in Blender, 3dsMax and Sketchup! Nice tutorial as always!
Thank you very much for this. I have set a question about UV Unwrapping for your glass. Beginner part 3. I didn't get a clean cut for this pice. Maybe you can help me? This camera is my next project. Radio, cofffe cup and glass finished so far.. Thx again This ist the next one for me😁
Yeah, I saw your question on Discord as well, you can try interactive mapping, I used that method in one of my bottle tutorials, you can check that out!
Hey in the first phase, couldnt you just delete the unwanted face after extruding inwards? (Commenting here within the first 20 mins of this video’a upload)
Yes, for a simple model, you can delete the polygons and proceed, but with complex shapes, it's not as easily resolved. Since our goal is to establish a solid foundation in modeling through this series, learning the best methods is advisable.
@@polygonpen really wish c4d had a dedicated “extrude manifold” tool like blender for extruding inwards with non-manifold geometry. Although it can be done with control+ LMB drag on polygons with polygon pen tool but it creates so much unwanted geometry. Its a mess. ua-cam.com/video/aTFUaE-2_vo/v-deo.htmlsi=yl1MFt4yhkRWVMMu
@@polygonpen i recently start to learn Plasticity , its a great tool NO TOPOLOGY but i do believe in what you are saying , topology is how the 3d object is working in the core of it worst is when i was intruder to retopology man that hit hard , i was crying under my desk by the way for anybody is reading this im just an enjoyer of 3d art in general

Beautiful! I've been using C4D for many years and I learnt many new things and realised a few erroneous techniques of mine.
Thank you very much
Thank you!!
I swear you are the best in youtube , I learned a looot from you bro , thank youuu ,
Awesome!
Finally 🎉🎉🎉 been waiting for next part 🙏🙏

Thank you for another FANTASTIC tutorial. The best out there!!! 👍👍👍
Thank you!
Thank you very much for this.
Fantastic as always ❤
Thank you!
Thank you for another great tutorial! Btw, you can hide the Workplane in front of the model, in the Options menu, cheers!

Thank you, I agree, snapping in Blender is incredibly easy and effective, I love that feature of Blender!
modeling tutorial with UV work it's an excellent thing
Thank you!!
Amazing tutorials
Thanks!
NICE WORK
Thank you!
Thank you very much!
hi, thanks for your lessons. Please show the UV in the Redshift rendering
Merci beaucoup
amazing
Thanks!
As Redshift are now a part of Cinema 4D, will you start using that as main render in your tuts?
Yes.
Thank you very much for this.

Hi, im new to discord. Where can i find the scene files? Regards
Please ask this on the Discord server, I can not help you here.
@@polygonpen No problem, will do👍
@@polygonpen btw, you make great tutorials. Ive followed many and they are so helpful especially in developing professional work flow habits.
@@magicdog5623 Thank you, this is what I am aiming for, laying a solid foundation especially in the beginning of learning 3D modeling.

my biggest problem is topology , i just hate it
In my opinion, the more familiar you become with it, the easier it becomes to understand topology, so it is all about practicing.
