More beginner tuts are coming, regarding your question, you can add a cylinder (With 8 segments) to the scene as a reference/guide then you can try to match the points of the selected polygons of the cube to the cylinder.
Nice. Modo user here looking at C4D. On the bottle top face, could you inset these faces in one go to create the additional loops rather than slide clone each separately?

Hey, you can reset the axis, hit Shift+C and search for ''Axis to center''.

Hi, you can right click on the columns and change the sizes of them, you can try this.

Fit circle tool is only available in the latest versions of Cinema 4D so you should update your version.
how does your subdivision surface look simple with all the points and edges still in the cage?
You can play around with the display settings in the top left menu.
