The last time they play live this song was 21/10/2005 the last show from Once World tour and the last Tarja's show. What a unique surprise!! I think that at the next year's shows the setlist will be more bombastic!! ❤️
This is fantastic!! ❤️ 😍 OMG! ❤️ 😍 LOVE IT, LOVE IT! I really thought that this song will never happen again with Nightwish, I'm literally in tears now! 😭🖤🤘🤩 Thank you so much for sharing this! 🙏🤘🖤😍❤️
@@reijovaliranta yes I did know it, I did watch every Beste Zanger episode when I did find the English subtitles... And I did know what they talk back then, and promise to do so. So I was hoping it, but I was very/extremely sceptical about it. 🙂 ❤️ 😍 It was much better this way, to be surprised and happy! ❤️ 😍
I absolutely agree. This is good. However Marko made Nightwish spectacular. He was the secret weapon along with Floor. And he is sorely missed. Hopefully he will return one day.
This is a great performance but my mind is stuck with the Performance of Tarja Turunen and Marko Hietala: that is the Epitome performance of The Phantom Of The Opera!!
Timeline 1:21 Tuomas and Jukka looked one another, ups 😊.. Hank sang in wrong tempo. It went wrong in 1:12. Overall its great they get together, for this one. Welldone!! And, bonus Nice tshirt Hank. I know what's that about ❤😊

Yes, they should have waited until they could have gotten Marco to guest appear in it. I would agree on that. Henk is passable, but he is not, and never will be, Marco. If they split amicably with Marco as they have always claimed they did, it wouldn't be THAT HARD to get him to come onto stage to do ONE SONG. So one can wonder how deteriorated their relationship really is.
@Michael Vedal They invited Henk because he did it as a duet with Floor in a tv-show. If they hadn't done that, NW would never have played it again I think.
@@michaelvedal1907 Bloke your words about Henk are preposterous. Henk is 100X BETTER than Marco. And your inuendo about their relationship is sickening.

While I enjoy Floor's singing, these two fall short on this duet. They mix up who is supposed to sing what on one spot and Henk didn't know the proper lyrics in another. To me this took away from the performance. Henk errors when he sings, "all though you turn to me to glance behind", should have been, all though you turn FROM me to glance behind. The other part is when Henk sings, "I am the mask you wear" then floor sings "but its me they hear", is backwards. Actually it is Christine (Floor) who should sing SHE is the mask you wear", then the phantom (Henk should have responded) "its me they hear". I also don't care for Henk trying to sound like a metal singer. He isn't and to me it sounds strained, it is not his genre and that seems obvious. To me, these things took away from the piece. Just my thoughts.
@@paulriddle7818 Not by a long shot. She also sounded terrible as shit. Missing notes all over the place, not having learned the lyrics properly, and missing beats. It took them 17 years to allow this song to be played again, to allow Floor to perform it. I think it was sacred to Tuomas for a very long time, and probably took a hell of a lot of convincing to allow this to happen. If they will perform it again, who knows. Overall, I think it was a good performance for a song that is extremely hard to perform correctly. And as the other one said, Henk isn't metal singer, and he embarrass himself, and the band, by pretending to be one. They should have waited to get Marco to come and guest perform. At least that would have been much better, and Marco knows the lyrics by heart.
@Michael Vedal They performed this song together like 10 times already outside of NW. I'm sure they know the lyrics. Have you seen their original first live performance of this?
