@@Ministry_0f_Truth Yes, she had a surgery and couldn’t come. So this was prerecorded except for the live band.
I'm so happy the Netherlands are giving Floor Jansen the appreciation she deserves as the outstanding singer she is.
A little late, but as an old saying says. Better late then never! But I agree with you, and now it's time to give the metal scene in the Netherlands also more recognition, like Epica, their latest album "Omega" is really worth listening and it's no coincidence that they will play at "Paaspop" between all those pop and rock artists this year.
Have been a fan since 2001 myself (when I discovered After Forever) and saw many many shows over the years. Us metalheads have always known her worth... 😉❤️

@@HvV8446 what to think of Dear Mother and Blackbriar? I am only a fan of the old Within Temptation. And Delain is not Delain anymore they were in my top 3 before Charlotte, Otto, Timo and Joey left the band. Nightwish is for sure in my top 5, specially because of Floor. Looking really forward to the streaming concerts end of the month and of course to Epica's streaming concert next month too.

Floor definitely takes every song to another dimension. You can even see by their reaction how damn incredible she is.
She is incredible but the reaction of the others is an act. They want to be on camara as much as possible so they draw attention that way. Verry overdone acting..
There have been quite some songs that I didn´t appreciate properly until Floor sung them. She has a once in a lifetime voice and words are simply not enough to describe how much I appreciate her.

That´s true. I always say she is the definition of beauty in this world. Her voice can heal the most broken person. I know it because she did that to me. After years of chronic illness,listening to her voice daily has literally turned me into the most positive and grateful person. She is so inspirational.

The only thing I have to complain about is that the song is way too short but that's the magic with Floor Jansen, you just can't stop listening to her! But luckily Nightwish provides us with epic songs of 10 minutes and longer to fully dive into Floor's performance :D
Also, I showed this to my sister who isn't as biased as I am and she said: "Well, I thought the original was ... not anywhere near as good as this 😂😂😂"

Hey remember when we hadn't heard Floor's voice and life was a cascading hellscape of infinite sorrow? It's better now.
Just went and listened to the official version. The song itself is EXTREMEL:Y well crafted. An absolute banger, as the kids say these days. No doubt. But.......the official presentation.....do we all have an understanding of what it's like to taste cotton candy? Well, cotton candy is a delight, but it's not a meal.. It's not even a snack. Floor, however, transforms this gorgeous song into a 4 course meal. I can only assume that THIS is what the song writer had in mind.
