This was by far my favorite hike of the whole Southwest Road Trip! Gorgeous scenery, fun and challenging "climbs", plus a spectacular reward at the top 😊. The reaction to (maybe) the energy vortex was definitely surprising... Have any of you had an unexplained experience at an Energy Vortex??

Thank you!! Oh I had so many others around, I knew he wasn't going to go far if he tries to run away, LOL! He was just a very proud local who wanted to show off his favorite spot... I love meeting people like that when traveling 😊
What advice would you have for someone that has never done any kind of hiking? How long did it take you to reach the top? What types of things should bring in your backpack besides water and snacks? This is all brand new to me and I want to check this out lol.
Cathedral Rock is a fairly easy hike, I don't even think it took us 45 minutes to get to the top. There are a couple of places where you kind of have to "scramble" using your hands to balance and pull you up. Water and snacks and of course a camera to capture the amazing scenery! Sedona is so beautiful, you should definitely go experience it 😊
