I'd like to think that it's perfectly fine just the way the animé ended; they give you enough to paint a picture of the future, and still give you space for any headcannon you want.
Samurai Champloo will always be one of my favorites, a marathon when I have a weekend free.
The music is top notch; Shiki no Uta still gets me sentimental, and any beat by Nujabes is definitely a jam.
If you're going to do more Animé may I recommend "Ergo Proxy" another Manglobe product, though it may be too niche. 😂

Please make a samurai champloo live action, BUT DO IT WELL, and this is coming from late 2024.... this anime is my entire life and when it drops it better be PERFECT! also rip nujabes... what a world we live in.
This Anime blew me away. Watched through it twice once myself and once with my partner and she loved it to. Then read the manga. And in all honestly sometimes I think its best things are left alone once they're done (DeathNote for instance with the live action remake ugh)
Oh was the death note live action bad? There are a few right? I watched the western one and it was pretty not great but I think the japanese one hopefully wasn't
@@exitsexamined The western one was... Not awful but far from good. Largely like the Live Action Ghost in thr Shell, the nuance of the Anime was lost and it was just turned into another sci-fi actions film.
I would love a video on Van Baren, the original Fallout 3 that was in development before Bethesda got the ip.
Yeah I considered this quite a bit! But I think it's been done a decent amount from other UA-camrs, but maybe I'll take a deeper dive into it!
Something stands out to me, if it might mention me.
The answer to the question asked in the beginning is so obvious that anyone who’s paid even a little attention to the show can answer. The journey was done. Why make a second season when we’ve accomplished everything we set out to accomplish. Why water down the amazing story by throwing in unnecessary stuff.
It's interesting that I think you see this argument all the time come up with anime in particular. I agree with you were I think that not everything needs a sequel, but you see additions to series that have satisfying conclusions all the time. Even if SC had a good end there are always other ways to add to these types of series with prequels or spin offs etc without taking away from the ending they gave. I wanted to look at the series and franchise as a whole and check out why nothing more was done in the universe.
