I remember that little bonus comic Toriyama made where he drew what he considered to be paradise, with hime reading magazines, building model cars while snacking on Nori Senbei crackers and cola, plus a cigarette. The simplicity of that little panel stuck with me, it’s just so Toriyama.
I always wondered what other parts of Other World we haven’t seen. Cause to be honest I loved the golden clouds and purple sky aesthetic. It feels so pretty yet mysterious as if there’s more to this that we don’t know about. Is there a purgatory for neutral souls who aren’t good or evil, how many small planets like King Kai’s are there truly, are there other beings like Yemma and lastly is it possible to permanently and irreversibly screw up otherworld (I know these two examples are non canon but still) since Janemba and the super 17 stuff had souls escaping and going to the living world
For sure, we’ve only explored a very small portion of the afterlife. There’s entirely different quadrants and universes that have their own Kaios and what not
I do wonder what other realms there are in Dragon Ball besides the Otherworld itself, I guess that potential could explain why media like Heroes loves to utilize all those extra realms to make new characters and villains with the demons.
Guys some Tell me why the DB movies like "Hero's legacy" and "son goku and friends return" aren't provided on anime website??? I have tried many websites but they didn't featured those shows
@@lukastrophereman4668 that whole conversation was him saying that Vegeta wouldn’t get to keep his body in the afterlife like Goku, because he had done too many evil things. Piccolo mentioned the idea that he’d be reborn, but it was more likely a figure of speech. We DO know reincarnation exists in Dragon Ball, but I don’t think it’s a guarantee for everybody since we see people like Frieza stuck in hell
It’s implied that there’s different versions of hell for every planet, so Frieza’s hell is supposed to be the canon one attached to Earth. But we’ve seen very little of it, so if you want to imagine the hell we’ve seen in filler and movies, I think it’s fine

There’s other things like the Demon Realm, but we haven’t had much time to explore them. At least not yet.

So what does Hell or hfil canonically look like in Dragon Ball? Cause we have only really seen it in Filler or Frieza’s interpretation
