Great video, guys! I have been having super amazing accuracy with the 30gr .218 Javelin Slugs out of my .22 cal 600mm Panthera. Last week I beat quite a few .22LR guys with it at an NRL22 match, and clinched first place in the airgun division. I will be shooting Javelins at NAC next month - that is for sure!

I would like to see a solid 14mm "real" barrel. It could be machined so to screw on the brass transfer port. This "real" barrel be unchoked for slugs only. FX could offer it as an upgrade.

Any weight recommendations for the latest IMPACT M3 Sniper in .30 cal?
Good timing with the availability of Javelin slugs in .25 and 30 caliber. My FX Panthera 600mm in 30 cal is supposed to be shipped out this week. My plan for my Panthera is for a long range groundhog rig. Do you think these heavier 30 cal. slugs will be stable out to 200 yards. Might be nice to see some long range groups at say 200 yards. I know the FX Panthera in .22 caliber that Ted Bier shot at coke cans showed very good accuracy at 300 yards. It would be nice if FX would share all the results of Hein's work in a chart for each slug weight and diameter for fps, accuracy, regulator and hammer wheel settings. That would be a good guide for initial set-up for the Panthera and Impact. Thanks
With a 600, I'd suggest starting with the 60gr Javelin, possibly the 64 (but not the 68 as you'll need more barrel length). at 975fps -1000fps you should get very good, and stable results.

@@FXAirguns Jon I thank and applaud you for taking the time to response to my comments and those of others. It is a rare thing that happens with top people in companies. I am glad that Hein's stated he was doing his testing with the Panthera as it came from the factory with the standard hammer weight. I wanted to get the 8mm hammer installed in my Panthera but the supplier said they were not available yet. It was good too hearing too Heins was going too try shooting with a lower regulator pressures. This is something that should yield a higher shot count and maybe still give good accuracy which is most important with any tune. I am having a front bottle adaptor installed along with a 700cc tank on my rifle to give me extra shot count so I will be using a Saber Tactical bottle pic clamp. I am hoping Saber Tactical or others will be coming with a picattiny and or arca under bottle mount rail for the Panthera. I have never liked using bottle clamps for bipods and particularly on the large and long 700cc bottle for my new rifle. Thanks again and keep up the great customer interaction.
If the liner production process is so inconsistent as it is now you can forget about mimicking the data.

It's so bizarre that in South Africa, you can walk around in the bush with a 700 Nitro Express if you want, but oh no, if you have an air rifle, you better not have anything bigger than a .22

What speed would you need on your setup for the .30cal 52gr javeli slug to expand at 100yards?
The lighter weight 52gr has a deeper hollow point as it's designed for expansion. Haven't tested the minimum needed for expansion, but for best accuracy shoot these at 975fps - 1000fps (which will open them up for sure at 100, especially due to the 100% lead being softer than standard slugs)

Can we all please have an update on the .25 caliber Slug liner problems. Hundreds if not thousands of people are waiting for an explanation, can they now buy liner, have the problem been rectified? Thanks
All the liners we have we have tested and work great. Just got a new batch from Sweden that are being shipped to FXUSA dealers.
@@FXAirguns yeh the new batch with STX slug written on the (not superior slug) should be the ones that have the modified or rectified dimensions and should now be good.
Where is Hein going to work now? Moving to Utah Airguns or staying in NC at FX usa?

I have a crown MK2 30 cal. do I need a heavy slug liner to shoot these? And I am assuming I am not putting enough fps out for the heavier end ones, recommendations?
Yes use a slug/heavy liner. Accuracy sweet spot is 975 fps so I'd add the slug power kit and tungsten to get the most out of your Crown, and yes still stick to the 52 & 56gr Javelin

Can anyone clarify the .25 cal liners? I'm upgrading my MK2 Impact and confused on the choice... I have the standard superior 700mm, but need to order a slug barrel. I have seen "superior heavy" and "superior heavy slug" liners Q: are these the same or do they have different twist rates?

Why FX hybrids .30 cal are only .30? The Panthera .30 cal it shoots way better with .301 !! and Javalin doesn't make 44.75 grain in .301! Any good reason?

Hi, this pattern which happend at 16.44 it has to do with something in the gun setting. Its not by accident, its mechanically done. I found out what is doing this and how to fix it. I thing Id be big help in you design bureau since I study design and shit. I will work for food! :))
I would like to see since this new guns are making lot's of power.. deeper magazines.. 22 should start at least 3/4" deep that would allow to make a 224 conversion and shoot 50gr to 62gr cast bullets
I just wish they packaged them better. The packs I opened up when I got them had a bunch of them have very damaged noses and a rather surprising amount of slag around the base. Very much unimpressed.
Saw that on earlier packaging, new packaging has foam on top and bottom to better protect

@@2967575 Slug that has a wide open mouth hollow point so the weight is extremely low. So like a cross between a pellet and a slug. BC of a slug, weight of a pellet

Javalin do NOT cater to us .177 shooters, so really for a lot of people the brand are of no interest.
We’ll, they just added .25 and .30, so hopefully they’ll keep adding other calibers like .177 and .35

John screwed up everything with FX USA. He embezzled lots of money and the had to shut down FX USA and now Utah Air is the main distributor
Looks good in video. In real is way different. Pressure gauge damaged due to the extremely poor packaging. Cherry on the cake, it's leaking out of the box, no way to fill it. SOME OF THEM CAN SHOOT GOOD, mine is not even able to be loaded. From a Swedish company with this hype this is simply UNACCEPTABLE.
100% lead (Pb) does not exist, it is physically impossible on the surface of the Earth. It would be more truthful and accurate to say that they are 99.999% lead.
Also, pure sulfuric acid does not exist, neither does a perfect vacuum, absolute zero kelvin, the speed of light, a perfect circle, infinity, zero gravity, nor two barrels exactly alike from the same stock run, and on and on and on.
But it sounds nice.
