I get you guys, but I think Buzelis can be the exception. Giannis was similar build and a bad shooter. Doubted from the start. Now it's on the kid to be fully focused and hungry to prove everybody wrong and become a star. Only 19, let's hope🙏
I would argue that Giannis is still a bad shooter from 3 and he's a complete freak... Buzelis is not that

He can't shoot from 3. That's a project.

@@rjchi7317 I did. If you watch, you will see he shot 29% from 3... so yea... i would call a kid who is a "good" 3-point shooter who can't shoot from 3, a project.
@chrisbleck4703 well if u have you would know he shot 45% from the ourside in high school. He has a nice form and base to his shot. If you k own anything about the g league...its not the most organized basketball..its like a professional AAU.
This guys negative Nancy. Buzelis in May of 2023 was projected #1 in 2024. He was supposed to go top 5 for sure too 10. We got him at 11. One thing bulls have done well is develop shooting (ie Coby Ayo Caruso etc.)
so why did he drop on draft boards? ... the reason is that he didn't have a good season last year to live up to the projected ranking.

If they finally lead into the rebuild then I like the pick. If they keep all these vets then this was a waste.

Honestly away from the chat around Buzelis I agree with the conversation to move on from both DeRozan and Lavine. The question for the front office is are either of these guys going to get the roster to the playoffs and do anything? For me no, unfortunately Zach is a walking injury note and at 34 DeRozan is at best the 2nd or 3rd guy on a champion team maybe even the 6th man. Going back to Buzelis, he looks like he could be a good stretch 4 with some time to hone his shooting at the pro level and time with some S&C coaches to build that frame. If you build around that young core with a top 3 pick in next years draft you could have something to work with over the next 5 years. Doing what they are doing now will scrape into the playoffs at best and probably go home 1st round which for a franchise like the Bulls is a waste of time and should not be accepted imo.

Patrick Williams has had two seasons cut short due to injury. Patrick Williams has shot close to 40% from the 3 point line in the NBA. Patrick Williams problem is that he does not shoot enough.
That, and the fact that he can't rebound or score except on spot up threes. And his defense is overrated.

You guys act like the bulls are still trying to win and they arent. They are teying to find developmental players and keep their 10 ten pick next year. This is a perfect fit and he has the chance to end up as the best or one of the best players in this draft. The best part is they wanted to trade assets for a center that cant shoot outside of the paint. Ok 👍

@chrisbleck4703 they want to keep their top ten pick next year. It's the right time to get younger and play them to see what you have. If you can clear salary in the process it's a win win. It's better than trying to run it back again that is for sure.

Probably its gonna be a rough couple of years, that is normal. They tried and tried to win with Vooch and DeRozna and Zach. Well guess WHAT Adam ?? IT DIDNT WORK ! Start over. Hopefully its a top-3 pick next year or 2. Hint- Jordan was the 3rd pick so many years ago.
Trade Lavine and Dalen Terry for a 2nd round pick and draft Kyle Filliposki or Tyler Smith...and I'll give the Bulls an A. Right now I give the Bulls a B.

I have no idea.....but I vividly remember fans being both excited and critical towards Derrick Rose because he was a mediocre 3.point shooter and he couldn't hit clutch free throws.
