As the events of METROPOLIS take place in the year 2026, I am really hoping that the restored version will be given a big-screen re-release to celebrate the 100th anniversary of this ground-breaking cinematic classic. For cinephiles like me, the opportunity to see this classic on movie screens is something we'd go (RADIO!) GA-GA for! Let us hope!

This film shows us both the genius of Fritz Lang but also something that shaped many Sci-Fi films for years to come
I just purchased the new blu ray edition cant wait to watch it. Ive seen the film before but not on blu ray
