The film is a masterpiece
Oh my gosh I love this film so much.Perfection.
Just saw this new 4k restoration last night. I'm speechless.
This film is in my top 5 films of all time and I love seeing the good doctor giving it the praise it deserves ☺
Jack Cardiff should have gotten an award for this movie.
Powell and Pressburger, wow.....what a resume! :)
A Masterpiece
How many little girls have been influenced to try ballet because they were taken to see this movie by mothers who themselves had dreams of ballet. I saw this movie as a special presentation by my local public library, and the room was filled with mothers and their daughters.
I heard that it was going to be remade with Victoria Beckham in the lead role.
(Moira Shearer was probably the best ballet dancer ever in England).
Your joking remade with victoria beckham 🤣🤣🤣
Moira Shearer was Scottish
Xxxx
Terribly edited; snippets from
Hoffman when they’re discussing TRS and vice versus.
Which moments are you referring to? Every time they show TRS ballet, it's the music from the film. The only non-TRS music heard is when they show a clip of Shearer performing Coppelia in the movie. As far as I can tell, anyway.
@@BakingItOnBroadway You''re right! I'd forgotten there is a snippet of Coppelia in TRS. Entirely my bad, and apologies to Mark Kermode.
